This bag exceeded my expectations by miles and for miles and miles of hikes all over MD, PA, DE.
What I carry:- Sony A77- Tokina 11-16mm- Tamron 17-50mm- Tamron 90mm macro- Sigma APO 70-200mm and/or Tokina 100-400mm- 3 extra batteries- Cleaning kit- Remote- CPL filter- ND filter- Neewer GN40S flash- 4 extra AA batteriesThe camera usually has one of the mentioned lenses attached. All of the above is stored in the bottom storage area and the front pockets. Strapped to the side is a tripod. Depending on the type of trip and what I'm shooting I'll take a full size tripod or a small light weight one. The rain cover is left in the space it came in. The top most pocket contains a small first aid kit. The large top storage space I use for hiking supplies such as food, water, headlamp, etc. In the side pocket I keep a bottle of "OFF" and lens cleaning spray. Even with all of the above, the bag isn't really full. I think that if I did an overnight trip I might actually fill the bag.I've hiked with it numerous times totaling well over fifty miles. It took two to three hikes to work out the storage configuration and strap adjustments I needed. Now I can throw the bag over my shoulders and go. The hooks for the camera strap are phenomenal. They don't seem like a big deal but after you use it you cannot go back. The camera's weight seems to disappear! I have a Lowepro Slingshot bag I love to use when I want to travel very light, when large bags aren't allowed, etc. I absolutely love the side access panel in that bag. The TUBU bag has a very similar access panel. It works very much the same way. I usually have my camera out but if it happens to be stored I can very easily and quickly get to it. Getting a lens out is just as easy... but at that point I prefer to put the bag down and use it to shield the camera as I change glass.I have one request for the manufacturers, make a water bladder compartment. PLEASE! This bag is great. The ability to carry a bladder and to route the drinking tube through one of the shoulder straps would make this the best camera hiking bag EVER!

For Me, It Was Just Ok
I've scheduled a seven day photography trip in Summer 2018. It's the longest photography trip I will have gone on to date so I was very excited to purchase this hiking backpack for the event. From looking at the pictures and reading the reviews, it looked as if this backpack would hold my camera and all the accessories I normally like to bring with me when I go on one-day photography trips just fine but, unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed once it arrived. The backpack was well made, it was comfortable and lightweight and had padding for your back, straps to keep the backpack in place and an area for extra items (socks, small towels, t-shirt, first aid kit, etc.); all I liked very much. What I didn't like was the location where you place your camera and lens. I didn't like that there weren't separate compartments for camera equipment (batteries, camera cleaning kit, Speedlight, USB cords, extra disc space, etc.). I kept the backpack for a few days to see if it would grow on me but, unfortunately, it did not.I'm sure others will like this backpack because, as I mentioned, it's very well made and has several good qualities, but for me, the set-up just didn't flow so I returned it within a week of its purchase.

Don't Hesitate to buy this backpack!!!
This backpack is perfect! My husband is 6'6" and has ruined his back from working really hard when he was young and he says this is the most comfortable backpack he as ever had. Its got a lot of padding on the back and holds all his camera equipment without making him feel of any possible damage. He has a bigger lens and he doesn't have to take the lens off the camera to put it in because of the adjustable walls inside. Lots of room for more stuff. He takes it with him everywhere he goes and not just hiking. He lays it down beside him on his bench set in his truck and is able to pull his camera out with ease when he needs a quick shot of wildlife. Very sturdy bag. Lots of pockets and we are constantly surprised to find more awesome features as we use it.
