The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these for a renegade style music/DJ setup. I have them linked with a standard dmx 25' cable. As soon as I hooked them up, they synced to each other immediately. Auto mode is cool, but sound mode is even better. I'm definitely going to get a hazer/fogger to really bring out the light beam effects. They're much bigger than I thought, and heavier. They don't really feel like cheap lights, but they don't feel like pro level lights either... Sort of in the middle. Not really any inexpensive hard case options for these, so I may just use the cardboard box and foam it came with for transport for the time being. It was shipped and packaged very well FWIW. The effects and lighting patterns are great, even just in sound/auto mode, which is what I plan to use them on. No insight on dmx mapping. If they don't hold up, I'll try to come back and mention it.

The media could not be loaded. The good out weighs the bad, this light is so bright, it was a great addition to my current light show. I run my other lights on DMX but I put this light on sound mode and let it do its thing. Bad points but not a deal breaker, it's pretty heavy and hard to find a storage case for it. I was unable to connect to DMX (maybe a problem with circuit board) no worries works amazing in sound mode. In the video it is the talk of my shows. I highly recommend this light as an addition to any current light show you have

The media could not be loaded. It looks and works Great! The best way to use it : in a bigger event space (my room is too small for it). I tried Sound mode so far and its very sensitive to a music (also you can control it too). Don't forget to use a Fog machine for a better experience! With that lights- you probably don't need additional lasers, because it fills the whole room! Love it!

It would be a cool device but all it does is sound activated mode and auto mode. The DMX channels don’t work and it seems to glitch out when you choose any of the addresses. The return process has also been a slow go with Amazon “losing” my return and have had to wait extra long to get my money back. Unfortunately this product and the process is not worth your time, I promise. Look for quality name brands like ADJ, Chauvet DJ, Rockville etc. Not devices that don’t have any brand name on them at all

I'm a 20+ year DJ who's owned lights from ADJ, Chauvet, etc. So, if you don't know anything about DMX you will want to read this review before buying. IF you truly want to control every function/aspect of this light fixture with a true DMX connection it REQUIRES an DMX fixture SSL file which provides your DMX software all controllable functions such as X, Y axis movement, colors, light on/off, strobe, laser, etc. Without an SSL file you're only option to use DMX at it's utmost privative level is connecting two fixtures using DMX cable and programing one fixture as Master and the second as the Slave in the onboard menu. Otherwise, you can't fully control this fixture the way you want it to behave. Period.Providing an SSL file is up to the company that created this light fixture. And, if they want to be a good company for their clients, it's in their best interest to provide an SSL file for this fixture because honestly, this fixture is pretty bad@ass! It would be fantastic to be able to truly DMX control this fixture with various scenes. Please provide an SSL file!

*****************UPDATE: The company did wind up sending me a manual, but not for 16 channels, which is what I needed. Still, they were responsive, even if the response wasn't all that helpful.If you don't need a manual for 16 channel use (the listing says it supports 16ch), it probably works fine, but unfortunately, I couldn't really evaluate it, and I did not have time to sit and figure out what each command did.*****************This light itself is fine I assume, but even though the listing states a manual is provided, there is no manual provided. I don't have the time or patience try every single command to document what this light can do. What a seriously dumb omission, so this is going to be returned. It's a shame, I had been eyeing this light for a long time and finally pulled the trigger.if you like wasting time figuring out what a light can do on your own, I'm sure it's a fine product. For the price, include a manual, sheesh. And as indicated in the Q&A by another buyer, if you do provide a manual, provide the right one.

The media could not be loaded. If you want to add flavor, color and a good atmosphere to your parties, look no further because this light has it all. The colors are great and it has many wonderful effects. I am 100% satisfied with the purchase. You can use it in sound and automatic mode and the light does all work by itself without the need for a DMX would buy again highly recommend this product and it is also made of good material

The media could not be loaded. This light is pretty badass. The sound activation mode runs through what the light has to offer. The strobe is bright, and the lasers aren't too bad either. If you don't want the strobe and lasers, just put black tape over it.Now for those saying it doesn't work well with DMX, just depends on what program you are running. I run this off of soundswitch, which works flawlessly. They do have files for it. I believe 16/64 channels. I use 64 channels out of 512 universe. In soundswitch, you can control if the lasers/ stobes even come on or not.
