Rockland Melbourne Hardside Expandable Spinner Wheel Luggage, Charcoal, 3-Piece Set (20/24/28)

I paid $135 including taxes for a set of three in the same shade of green as my company logo. I like that I can brand them. They really stand out at the airport baggage claim.They came with locks that are good enough to keep honest people honest. Full disclosure, I forgot the combo and easily broke in with my bare hands.These cases are VERY roomy. The zippered compartment really makes it easy to maximize the use of space. I had no trouble with and of the zippers, which are well stitched, and the fabric is strong. Plus, the cases are light weight, so you really have wiggle room with the weight restrictions for flights.The wheels and telescopic handles all seem well designed, and sturdily built. Moving through airports, on ships, through streets was all easy for me. I could easily manage two suitcases and a backpack (fastened to the handle of one suitcase) by myself with this set because of how the wheels move.Listen. This set will not last forever. It arrived slightly bruised, and isn't the strongest material I've ever seen. It'll probably survive 10-15 trips, depending on how brutal the airport staff are. But at the price? $135 for a set of 3? Chose your favorite color and make the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I used the large suitcase and the carry on suitcase for a recent week long trip with 2 people. I love how each suitcase comes with a separator between the sides that you can zip up as well as the “seatbelt” on the other side that I used to hold my clothes down. This video was taken after I used them so there are some dings on the large suitcase from having TSA handle it when flying. The suitcase weighed 48 pounds so I was nervous for the wheels to break off or the hard outer shell to crack like many other suitcases would and this one didn’t! The dings don’t bother me and you can barely see them. They might even be from me since I was throwing the suitcase around from it being so heavy! Even though it was as heavy as it was, the wheels glided so smoothly both on carpet and hard floor/concrete. This made my traveling very smooth as I didn’t have to leave anything behind from it being too heavy for myself to carry. I personally didn’t use the locks that it came with (one for each suitcase) but im glad that I have them for next time. I also just love the look of the suitcase. It’s nice and sleek and I feel like not a lot of people have this kind so it was easy to find in baggage claim. Lastly, I love how each suitcase fits nicely inside the other for easier storage. I live in a small apartment and this will fit nicely in my storage closet! Definitely recommend!

I travel 2 weeks out of every month for work and needed some more durable luggage. I was concerned about getting hard case luggage because other brands/reviews indicated there was a smell to them upon purchase that wouldn't go away and got into your clothes. I was excited to find that when these arrived they had no strong odor. I let them air out anyway and they have been perfect for my needs - lightweight and very durable. And the color means I don't get my luggage confused with anyone else's. :-)I haven't had to use the medium or large one (only the carry on) but they appear to be just as great as the carry on. Also, what I didn't see in the item description that was an added bonus is that all 3 of them come with little locks.All in all, a great purchase - great price, fast delivery by the seller, nice bright color, durability, and exactly what I was looking for.9/22/15 Update:This luggage is very light, just as it claims. I overstuffed my carry on bag for 2 years (2 wks per mo, ~10 mo per year) and completely abused it by wheeling it around upright while very heavy (easy 30 lbs in the carry on). Then, at about 2 years I apparently had bent the handle a little too much and so it started sticking a bit when I tried to telescope it down. Rather than fool with it, I replaced the carry on by purchasing a different brand locally. Had the Rockland brand been available locally in a fun color I would have purchased it again. The weight of this luggage is so light and the space on the interior is quite large compared to other brands. I have not used the large & medium size suitcases very much (~2 trips for large and ~5 trips for medium), but both have held up in checked baggage just fine so far. No cracks or broken wheels to report. Note: if the luggage still comes with the locks - they are not TSA approved, so they aren't very useful. Overall, I got my money's worth from these bags and would buy again.Oh, and the purple luggage has beige interior (since some folks were asking in other reviews/comments).
