No ribs and good loose fit!
To avoid any confusion, the tank tops I bought are the black, Hanes X-Temp in 2XL size according to the printed "tag", listed here on Amazon as "XX-Large". I'm a fairly large guy, having about a 37" waist, am 5' 10" tall and am a good 210 pounds with what looks like a beer gut although I don't drink. I wanted tanks that fit very loose, not just to hide my stomach but also to be cool & comfortable where I live in the high desert, roughly an hour away from Death Valley where summer temps regularly run over 110F. I just got these today so they haven't been washed yet, but given the 60% cotton, 40% poly construction, they shouldn't shrink too much. For me, these are very comfortably loose fitting, perfectly long (right to the bottom of my crotch, including that which hangs somewhat lower) to my liking, even enough for summer concealed carry in shorts if you do or desire to. These are not the tight fitting, show your ripped body, ribbed design and are what I'd consider to be made of a "middle weight" material. If you ever ended up (by mistake on my part) with a W-Mart, FOTL tanks with the non-straight, un-hemmed bottom, those are what I'd call "heavy weight" material and ribbed style tanks "light weight", these are somewhere in-between, or what I consider "just right", and the bottom is straight & hemmed. Contrary to the information given in the description (maybe it was for an older design?) the tanks I got do not have the "Black satin label easily removed for tag-free comfort" but instead have the info printed inside below the neck in the rear. I intend to buy more of these after 1st washing them to double check shrinkage.

Nice finish and material, good length, run just a bit large.
Nice quality, far better finish than the garden variety "wife beater" or "A shirt". Good length nice material and runs a little large compared to a typical $3 "A shirt".I'm a pretty big guy. 6'1", 220 pound weight lifter and ice hockey goalie. I wear a size 48 suit coat and have a 38" waist. The Large size Hanes X-Temp is a bit loose on me in the chest and very loose around the waist. If you are used to the snug fit of the cheaply made Hanes A-Shirts ("wife beater") the X-Temps will be loose fitting in your normal size. If you want this shirt to be just a little loose, order your regular size, for a snug fit, go down one size. I'd be swimming in an XL. If you have a big beer gut these may not be loose.I'm still amazed that a Large size shirt is loose on me even after being washed a few times. I may order them medium size next time and the last time I was a "medium" was 30+ years ago.Update - I bought two of these shirts in medium in May of 2016 and they fit snugly which I prefer. I saw a 1 star comment that said the XXXL was too small. That dude must be well over 350 pounds. I buy the medium for a snug fit and the large for a slightly loose fit. I'm slowly replacing the low quality ribbed t shirts I had with these shirts. They look better, are far higher quality and fit better.

Perfect Workout Tank
I was in the market for some new workout tanks and happened to stumble upon these. I'm used to wearing Nike Dri-Fit Tanks to workout in, so I'll admit I was somewhat skeptical about buying a "lesser" Hanes version. However these definitely exceeded my expectations, and are now some of my favorite tanks to work out in. I sweat like a dog during during certain workouts, and this tank survived a Leg Day straight from hell without making me look like a jumped into a pool mid set. Since they "wick moisture away" they do not get wet easily, and as such tend not to cling on to bad smells (musk) as much when they sit in my laundry bag as normal cotton shirts tend to do after a work out. These are not the type of tanks that are to be worn as undershirts, they are more like "Frat Tank" than a "Wife Beater", that is to say you can wear one by itself and not worry about leaving your house looking like you just left your bed. I would agree with the other top review that says that they run a bit large. I'm a 6' large set, muscular guy, and these run pretty long even after a few washes. For working out, that is completely fine with me since it helps cover my pockets and crotch. However if you are looking to wear one as normal wear or for pleasure, I'd recommend going down a size.

If you wear a LARGE t-shirt...buy the MEDIUM tank
Great tank top!!! Perfect for enjoying summer and perfect for working in the yard and keeping cool. Colors are wonderful and the fabric is soft, comfy, and cool...I normally wear a Large size in t-shirts and a Medium in "A" ribbed undershirts, so I bought a Large and it was fairly baggy...returned the Large for a Medium and it was perfect (fit like my L t-shirts)

Not as described
I own numerous Hanes products, including other X-Temp shirts. These "Hanes" shirts are not the same. These "Hanes" shirts have tags and Hanes X-Temp shirts are tagless. Not to mention the sizing is way off, unlike my other Hanes shirts.

ONE MINOR FLAW
Shrink after drying and are super thin. Be confident with your body's current state, because in the wind or with sweat, this material hugs your skin tight haha. I still have a lot of weight to lose, so on ME it doesn't look good, but I'm sure on someone very fit this tank would look great. Just a heads up!

Pretty good
Fit is pretty much on par with a standard Hanes under shirt. Feel is nice, I usually go for the polyester tanks because heavy cotton in the gym is not breathable, but I've recently began to get really annoyed with the static that comes with polyester, so I decided to try these. They're not slim, they're not big, they're pretty much just an average cut. Straight up straight down. My only complaint is they're a little short for my taste. If they were 1 inch longer and 1 inch slimmer I would by 20 of these and be forever done with trying to find workout tanks.

Perfect for working out and chilling in
The best workout tank top I have used. Easy to breath in and the neckline isn’t low. The chest fit is perfect and perfect to tuck in. Always comfortable ! I bought like ten of these before they ran out of stock. Got some more recently. Great to wear outdoors to when the sun is out.

Not tag-less !
Very nice material, not ribbed but smooth in texture. Soft and nice to touch. The picture in product description shows tagless Hanes shirt (although the written description tells you it is not )In fact, you have this gigantic tag that is very hard and black (that what she said!)

The only thing i can wear in summer cause of my eczema
This is a lifesaver for me in the summerMy skin flares up really really bad in the summer and i struggle to wear a normal tshirt to go outside during hot summer days. When i am inside my own house these are all i wear cause they are comfortable and dont skin to my skin or irrate it to the point of making it red or leak.If you suffer form eczema do yourself a favor and order a pair to try them i received them as a gift and i have to say dollar for dollar it as brought me much happiness and sanity on summer days

It's pretty good.
It's a pretty good undershirt for the price. It was excessively baggy and long when I first got it, but it shrank a bit in the wash so it's much more manageable now. It's still a bit longer than I would prefer, but that's not a big deal.

Nice tank top
Comfortable and soft material, not too heavy, doesn't shrink wrap my stomach; hangs loose in waist which is comfortable and complimenting. I wear them to the gym. I'm a man 180lbs and bought the large. Hang dry or I'm sure they will shrink a little.

Good for weight lifting
I needed an option for working out at home that was comfortable. This is perfect for me for chest and waist. I'm not tall, so it is a bit long on me. I had purchased two other brands of the same size and "fit" but the Hanes product works best for me. Will buy again and do recommend.
