This thing's great!Holds the phone right in place. Just so nice to have it held where I need it, at just the proper angle so it's pointing right my eyeballs. Terrific.Each section is very strong for it's purpose. The grips that go on the table are padded but exert plenty of force- it WILL hold on to that table.,Same goes for the metal bendy arm, you exert effort to move it, (not hard, just has strong resistance), and then it stays where you put it.That section is encased in like a thin amount of rubber. Smooth and sensible.The grip that holds the phone is likewise a real gripper. holds the phone strongly.Both grippy parts have padding so only metal touches your stuff.Only down side - and this is a design issue:If you swipe the phone, it bounces. I twisted as in the picture on Amazon. It stays in place, but wobbles when I swipe.not a lot for the hand...but annoying to the eye. So this is meant mostly for viewing content, imo, or maybe hold with one hand while you tap and swipe to do stuff. kind of annoying. I wish there were TWO stabilizer holder/curly-que bars.I wish i could deduct a star for that.In any case, awesome product, very well made, terrific price, can't beat it.

I have this strapped to a bedside table and it floats my phone over my head while I watch Netflix in bed... My wife says I found a way to be even lazier but elbow pain I had holding my phone up has disappeared! Life is good. Slip can slide off if you try to adjust it while clipped but it is a strong as can be expected... any stronger and it might have been too hard to clamp it.

Need this for an old car, I spent some time figuring where to install under the seat and got it just right. it's been a few weeks and it's holding up well! Good quality & very flexible...Great price.

I find the gooseneck arm to be a bit too stiff and too difficult to bend into the shape I need it to be in. I suppose it's as stiff as it is in order for it to be able to hold in position the cantilevered weight of the phone clipped into it -- but it's still difficult to bend into the exact position you want it to be in, and especially if you want to be able to keep changing that position. Also, a month into owning it, part of the plastic spring loaded clamp that holds the phone has cracked/broken, right at the hinge point, so I'm expecting full failure any day now once the plastic breaks off completely. (Positing a photo of the broken part, but might be difficult to see.) So I have to give it points off for an apparently flawed design -- weak plastic materials. It is unknown at this point if the seller will replace this broken unit or part. UPDATE: apparently you only have 30-days with Amazon to make a return, so I guess I'm stuck with this broken product. I've owned it about 60 days.

Seems sturdy on the clamp and cable but the phone holder clamp is plastic and received broken.

I looked for a single clamp mount to use with a Philips Hue Motion Sensor. I paid more for this one because that's what the photo shows. Instead I was sent a v-clip style. I'm going to make it work for me but I am not happy with it overall.

I ordered this thinking about clamping it on a microphone stand to have my "cheat sheats" closer on my Note 4. The clamp will not work for that... but with a few velcro cable straps it does the trick. I think it works better that way as only a third of the length is unsupported so it doesn't bob around much when jostled. The clamp is fairly strong if you clamp it to something at least an inch thick. Anything smaller and the spring in the clamp doesn't exert much force. The clamp is removable so it is possible to hook the gooseneck to another clamp or fixture. Does what I bought it for on stage for less than the $30 to $50 other designs (and one exactly the same) go for. Also good for hands free reading or watching movies in bed, on the couch, eating lunch at my desk etc...

This is a great size for my husbands power wheel chair. I’ve bout other ones and they were to long. The clam holds on tight to his chair and gives him great access to his phone
