Unbelievably nice
This cheap little keyboard is a hidden gem. I have Corsair and Alienware mechanical keyboards that cost wayyy more and this i61 blows them away in every aspect. They're trash in comparison. The build quality is surprisingly good. It's tiny yet has some nice weight to it. The chassis doesn't flex or feel like cheap plastic. Screws on the bottom for easy opening. Nice black PCB. Multiple layers of padding and a plate. It's an excellent budget option for modding but I wasn't expecting it to be so good in stock form. The switches and keycaps feel good and sound good to me. My other expensive keyboards with actual Cherry MX Reds feel and sound awful and had me believing linear switches were just plain horrible. One thing to note is that the front logo on mine doesn't have the orange accents, which is great. Perhaps they realized most people don't want a logo that stands out like that and changed it. I originally planned to remove the logo since people say it's easy, but might keep it since it's just black text and doesn't stick out. The RGB is nice and has plenty of options. A neat little touch is when you reach minimum or maximum RGB brightness/speed the keys will quickly flash red, then green, then blue (RGB). My only complaint is the lack of adjustable feet, which I knew when I bought it and can be easily remedied. Other reviews complain that some of their switches stopped working, but that's negligible to me since I bought this with intention to mod and have a set of Gateron Milky Yellow Pros on the way. For less than $30 this is an insane value and a very thoughtfully built keyboard.

amazing stock and also modded
This keyboard is amazing... When I first looked at this board, I thought it was some cheap knock-off board. But I was wrong. The build quality is amazing with a metal plate and foam between the PCB and plate as well as the bottom of the case. I modded it with a bunch of things and now it sounds amazing. The footage shown above is after mods btw. The board sounds pretty quiet and thocky out of the box and the stabilizers are pretty good. Overall this keyboard is amazing and I have no complaints except for the giant logo on the board (which I took off by rubbing nail polish remover). The keycaps it comes with are also pretty good they are double-shot abs keycaps whi are good. Here are the mods I did to the board: tape mod (2 layers) P.E foam mod stock foam stock plate foam stock lubed stabilizers lubed Akko V3 Cream yellow pros switches and I ordered pbt japanese matcha keycaps (a late spring time) the keyboard plus mods were over about 65 bucks and it turned out to be a pretty good board.

Great keyboard for the price!
This keyboard is really good for the price. The keys sound great, the keyboard works great, and the extra padding goes more beyond than other brands offer at a higher price. Also would love to point out how this is a RGB keyboard which bright LED lights that put my main keyboard to shame. The ONLY gripe I have with this keyboard, which is minor and can be learned, is the functions shortcuts to access the other keys because it's a 60% keyboard. Honestly, at the price point of $25 with the features it comes with, and the only gripe I have is the function combos, this is really a great deal you can't pass and will not regret. This is a great starter keyboard for people who are wanting to experience modding their first keyboard and also just wanting a second keyboard to use either for gaming or even work. 10/10

Good value!
30 bucks is great value for what you're getting out of this keyboard. The RGB is very nice and it is north facing if anyone cares about that. I believe the switches are stock, so I'm gonna lube them eventually but the stabs are pre-lubed. If you're looking to change the switches, the board is 100% hotswap, which is very nice. I appreciate how easily modifiable this keyboard is for the price point. There is also foam inside for some dampening but I added tape mod to make it sound a little bit nicer. The stabilizers can sound a bit rattly at times so I'll also do bandaid mod eventually. I also bought a new set of pbt keycaps (still in transit) as the keycaps don't really do the RGB justice. TL;DR - 100% hotswap, foam included, very easily modifiable. Perfect for if you're looking for a fairly cheap keyboard to improve. If you're not looking to mod and are on a tighter budget, this keyboard is for you.

The keyboard offers excellent sound, aesthetics, and feel. The only issue I encountered was with the packaging it was shipped in the keyboard’s original box without an additional protective box. Upon arrival, the Caps Lock key was detached, though easily reattached. Overall, it’s a great keyboard with satisfying performance and design.
