I needed this adapter in order to be able to use a battery Bank that had a weird angle for the USB that didn't like to plug into my devices... It's just long enough for me to be able to have my battery bank and device plugged in and chilling in my coat or pants pocket, and the braided cable is so much more thick and rugged than I expected that I sincerely doubt I'll have to worry about this fraying for a very long time. The heavy duty USB metal terminals also make me doubt that I'll have to replace this cable anytime soon. Very happy with this purchase, and I'm over the moon about it because I'm notoriously hard to please when it comes to tech build quality.
