I bought this book because my four kids loved Holes. The book is short and the chapters are short. It is a perfect read aloud. The kids enjoy the humor and the expansion of a story they loved.

Holes is one of the best books for young boy readers and old lady reading tutors. I am a reading tutor in a 5th grade class and this follow-up book is fun.

My child read Holes by the same author at school, loved it, and so I wanted to keep his enthusiasm for reading going and told him about a few other books by this author. The digital library was backed up for many of his titles, so I resorted to amazon to purchase one. This was a hidden gem that I didn’t come across elsewhere and my son loved it! He’s 10 and read it in 3 days! Wouldn’t put it down. I just wish it wasn’t $10 for a paperback. Seems pricy to me but happy my son enjoyed it.

Quite the opposite direction and legends and I would like a werewolf the things I thought it would have to be another one so I would like a werewolf

Loved it, loved Holes also. Great books for kids. Louis is a good author.

Funny, easy to read, come in pretty good shape.Very children friendly. Recommended for all kind of age of reader!

I was really excited to read this book because I am a huge fan of HOLES! I read it in two days, a little disappointed about how short it was. I have to say some parts are kind of boring and others funny! I just wish there were more than just HOLES, Stanley Yelnats' survival guide to Camp Green Lake, and Small Steps. I was hoping the series was longer. I've read four of Sachar's books and this one isn't in the top two.
