Sea Dog 422010-1 Aluminum Vertical 4-Switch Panel, 4-1/2" W x 4-7/8" H

I went with this Sea Dog panel because, at the end of the day, Sea Dog has been serving we boaters for years and years and years. I grew up on this brand and felt nostalgic about it. And since this switch panel is serving a very light duty for my particular application I didn't sweat about it. This panel seems to be up to snuff although I did notice that, unexplainably, after I initially wired it up, one switch didn't initially light up when I clicked it to the on position. Then for some reason after an hour or so of having power to it, the switch suddenly did light up. So far I'm happy with it and it's been used a handful of times thus far with no other issues.

Easy to use and install. You must take care when removing or installing the negative buss bar as it is fragile, tabs can separate. Easy to work around.

Using this as part of my solar setup. I've got relays running from each of switches so the switch controls the relay and the relay handles the real power to the devices. The fuses in this unit are just a bonus to protect the relays.One star off because one of the fuse holders broke (and the fuses are spring loaded so it went flying) but was easily fixed with some super glue.

Good looking switch. Lighted when on, fuses supplied. I broke one fuse cap trying to pry open, susposed to push in to open! My bad but a shame it was so easy to break. Be careful. Easy to install, u need push on electrical connectors, easy to find.

panel plate is thin aluminum and the bus bar has a cheap slide connection. May drill a hole and in the bus and use screw with ring connector later. Installed and it works well and looks nice. My application is the interior of sailboat and I would not recommend for outside on center console powerboats, especially around salt water. good value overall compared to breaker panels.

I was a bit disappointed that the unit came with only five fuses, not eight as described...I'll need to get out and buy some fuses before I begin my project. Other than that, this item appears to be a good item, good value.

great product but the push on terminals are really loose on the negative side ended up soldering them to prevent intermittant connection

Good product. Took me a little while to get it wired in the way that I wanted it but it works perfectly for my application. I have it installed to the lights in my boat and so far no problems at all.
