This play barn is beautiful! It is made very well and looks like it's going to be very durable. I bought this because the barn I originally ordered ended up not being restocked soon enough, so I had to cancel that and choose something similar for my 2 year old son. He is obsessed with all things farm! I stumbled onto this, and I wasn't sure at first whether to get this one or the FP Little People barn, but I decided to get this one because while my son has a ton of LP toys, he doesn't really care about the music and noises they come with. I am super happy I chose this brand! It was a better price, and while it doesn't light up or play music or sounds, it really is just beautiful to look at and has the feel of a play barn from the 50's! It is great quality, much much sturdier than the plastic the LP toys are made of, and very rich, bright colors! I can't wait to see his face when he opens this Christmas morning! Thank you, Battat, for making such a quality product at an affordable price!

I bought a barn toy at a thrift store and supplemented it with this animal set. I was impressed by the animals and my 16 month old toddler loves to hold the big cow and big horse. I make animal sounds when we play with the toys and he loves that too. I would buy this set again just for the animals to be honest. I was not impressed by the fencing nor ladder. My son liked putting the haystacks in his mouth and rolling the tractor on the floor.

They are so cute and I love that there are babies of each animal. I keep all these in a storage bin for my toddler to grab. The toys are durable and still soft. She plays for hours with her barn now that she has the animals. Easy to grab and use, easy to clean, I just wipe with a damp cloth.

We have a lot of farm animals that needed a barn to live in. I was very pleased to find this toy barn for a decent price (especially given a competitor was asking $70 for theirs!) The barn arrived in a better quality that I expected and it was cuter in person than in the online photo. We also really liked the dark red coloring and cannot even begin to imagine how bright red the other color would have been. I also like that this barn is just a barn without bells, whistles, actions, singing, sounds, etc. - its just a barn cutely designed for pretend play. The animals included with the barn were cuter to me than the competitor's as well. Three of the animals have little doored stalls (can see at the back of the barn) but once in the barn, there is no fence to keep the animals separated (but I am ok with that). The fourth animal has a window to look out of on the side where it eats from a trough. I did find it odd the set did not have a chicken, but appeared to have a nest in the hay loft area. Fortunately we already had chickens from the competitor's brand so it worked out fine. I love the handle on top so the barn can be carried easily.My only complaints are:- something is rattling inside the cow and I cannot get it out- the way the doors snap shut is precarious and I think they can break easily.- We do not intend to store the farm animals inside the barn mostly because there are windows and doors for the animals to fall out of when being carried, but it will also cause issues in closing the barn.Overall, I think this barn will be perfect for my two year old son who loves to read "Click Clack Moo Cows that Type," "The Big Read Barn," and "Giggle Giggle Quack." I also think he will play with his farm animals more now that they have a home. I never heard of the Battat company before this purchase, but I am definitely going to keep an eye out for them in future.

I have a 2 year old grandson and wanted to find a barn for his animals. After looking at several, this one kept catching my eye and I am so glad it did. It folds out, is highly detailed without being overwhelming and is large enough that he has no trouble getting the animals in and out. It is on his toddler table so he can walk around from front to back while he is tending his animals. It is a beautiful dark red color, and even has a corn trough on the side under a window. It is very sturdy and opens and closes easily, yet stays closed for carrying. The first time he saw it, he squealed and ran to it and immediately started playing. We can even put his Thomas the Tank track through the double barn doors so the animals can ride into the barn in a wagon. I must mention the animals that come with it. They are so cute and well made. I love this!!! It is heirloom quality. Thank you for such an amazing toy.

My three year old loves this, and so do I. It's sturdy, cute, and an amazing deal for the price.
