Love it
Haven't gone yet but hope it is helpful.

It's a bit too brief
Good book, but could be better. It only lists a few things in every category. You can get that easily off the internet. I was hoping it would give more info about restaurants, shopping and places a day trip away. I used the Bordeaux Tourist Office while there and got a lot more info from them.

This guide does not include the Grand Synagogue of Bordeaux.
Among the most culturally, architecturally, and historically significant of Bordeaux’s landmarks is the Great (Grande) Synagogue, where Nazis imprisoned hundreds of Jews before deporting them. The synagogue is a an essential stop on any visit to Bordeaux. It is shocking that the author of this guide has not included it.

Everything You Need For A Weekend in Bordeaux
We bought this book as we were visiting Bordeaux for a couple of days before travelling to the Basque region for a walking holiday. It's a great little book, which fits into a pocket or handbag and gives you a flavour of Bordeaux. It's not incredibly detailed, as it's only a pocket book, but it helped us get around and to see the major tourist attractions.

Great value guide.
Just came back from Bordeaux and used this guide every day. it’s very good and despite it’s size, it is very informative and i highly recommend it.Some of the details concerning the price of travel cards and day passes are outdated but to be fair this is to be expected, we researched these online prior to our visit so that there were no surprises and we could budget for our trip.My only criticism is the map, its not well detailed and small, but it does give you the main streets. We ended up ditching this map after our first day and used a free one that we found in the tourist information office there.
