Bought an old Toyota suv, that still had the stock stereo in it. I wasn't looking for some life-changing upgrade. Just something with Android auto, carplay, and didn't break the bank. This was perfect. It has all the options you need. I went ahead and bought the Toyota adapter harness for it which made installation of breeze.

I bought this equipment to replaced an Android radio that was outdated and see that this new equipment is fantastic it supports Apple Play and has very good quality and new functions that are very useful for me

so after some months of useage i have not been satisfied with this productat first it was a good product it would connect to carplay easily without difficulties but now it sometimes connects and sometimes it doesntalso not sure if once it gets hot itll have a lag in the music and turns off and disconnects from carplay and its a pain in the butt to put the carplay back since youll have to turn off the stereo then turn on and hope it works againother then that i like the fact how flush it sits in the truck i think thats itwouldnt recommend purchasing to those facts but paid for it already so might as well use it till i need another stereoi connected the stereo myself and had the carplay detecter on the side so it shouldnt be a issue to connect just annoying it disconnects everytime i drive the truck

I'll start out by saying I seldom leave product reviews. Almost never. I was pretty impressed with this unit. I first tried an Atoto A6PF. Hot garbage in my opinion, issues with Wi Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and not very user friendly. I returned it and got this Pioneer head unit. I have used many Pioneer audio products over the years, and they have all been solid. I put this in my 2004 Super Duty truck with the help of a Metra 95-5817 installation kit and it fits perfectly. It does require trimming the opening of the dash bezel on the top and bottom, but pretty minor and looks pretty good. it's a snug fit in the radio pocket of the dash also, so it is nice and solid once installed. Everything worked as it should, and the wireless Carplay works awesome. It was very easy to connect and the other features are easy to find and use also. I will be upgrading the speakers for sure, but it even sounds ok with the crappy factory speakers. I added the Amazon suggested back up camera and couldn't be happier. I did all the install work myself, no rocket science here and pretty straight forward. Really nice unit for this price range!

It’s pretty basic not much for audio settings kinda sucks because my old head unit from 2005 had more equalizer settings then this kinda bums me out i would buy a better model i wish i could but my return window is gone

Easy instal for an 08 Frontier!

I bought this to replace an old stereo in my toy hauler. I wanted the ability to play music from my phone as I normally am camped well out of radio range. I had to do a few things to adapt it to RV usage, but it is working well now. The amp I have would stay on as there was always power to the antenna wire because there was no ignition to shut off. I installed a simple toggle switch to emulate the ignition in a vehicle.
