It is about 12” in diameter. It was effective enough for me as an adult in costume. It gave the desired appearance without being so big and bulky

How do I change the shield from kid size to adult size because that option doesn’t show for me

There are two sizes: children and adult. There is also a difference in the shield decoration and detail. The gold one that Diana trained on Themyscira with was golden. (The costume prop is plastic.) In "Batman vs. Superman" and "Justice League" her shield was black with a gold trim. (This costume prop is made of a plolyester type material, has two Velcro arm bands and a red button on the back that when pushed makes a "clashing" sound.)

Good quality

What can I say, it's a shield. It is not flimsy or cheap looking and is better more authentic looking than the regular red golden ones, that have that cheap plastic. Even adults could use this for their costume.

Super cute costume for a great price I liked that they came with all the little accessories the headband the arm armor a belt n the legs covers, my daughter is on the petite size n slim so I ordered a small and it fit her just right. If you want it to last a bit longer after the Halloween day I suggest you go a bigger size overall it’s perfect

Works better as a shield than a hat

This is by far the best Wonder Woman shield I have ever owned. I purchased this to better protect myself while fighting crime and saving the world from evildoers, but it's also very handy protection from the sun if you wear it like a hat - although the chin strap is a little tight making it hard to eat a 3 musketeers bar while you're running through a crowd at full speed in high heel boots
