Works great!
I've used this shackle to pull several vehicles free with a snatch rope. I've even done a couple pulls where I had to side load it, and it performed flawlessly. I keep it in my recovery kit and it goes everywhere with me during the winter. I don't leave it in the hitch because I don't want it to be stolen, to rattle around, or risk the pin backing out and losing the shackle.

Fits 3rd Gen 4runner despite the warning it doesn't
This thing is heavy and feels sturdy. Time will tell if it holds up to offroading use. Going to be generous and give it the benefit of the doubt and rate it at 5 stars, even though the description says it won't fit a 4runner and it does. Fits my 3rd gen 2000 SR5 Sport model just fine.

Everything feels pretty solid and well made
Everything feels pretty solid and well made. The body is heavy, the 3/4 D-ring is as good a quality as ones I've used in the past, but I'd recommend ordering a heavier duty receiver pin, the one it comes with doesn't feel to solid.
