Great for kids, not for adults.

I'm intermediate level but I got this as a reference book. If you are a beginner beginner level and don't have an understanding of how the words and letters are pronounced yet then probably don't buy this until you have a grasp of how the letters and words are pronounced. If you are looking for abook that spells words out like they sound, then this isn't it. But all in all, I really like it

I teach a group of adults , ages ranging from 21 to 47 who are really enjoying using this book. The illustrations make it much easier to communicate with them than simply talking. Hopefully they will out grow this book girl soon, but it a great way to kick start conversations. The illustrations cover a broad swath and I give thumbs up.
