Good quality 5 ply Stainless Steel Stock pot with lid!!!
Awesome 5 ply similar to an All-Clad 5-ply but at a discount price depending on when you buy!!! Shiny multi layered steel, heavy thick bottom and a good capacity (6 Quart) the c which distributes the heat evenly…ideal for cooking large quantities of food such as Pasta, Gravy or anything at all. We have used it for several things the past few months and everything turned out so well without sticking. The inside wall has easy to read markings in liters/Quarts to follow those recipes to the dot; the handle is coated with KitchenAid etched on it.Dimensions: The stock pot's dimensions in inches are Height:5"; Outside diameter is 10" (edge to edge)How to use: Before cooking in any of the stainless steel appliances, I let the utensil heat up for few mins, then I do the water bead test, if the water beads up and rolls on the surface then it's ready for cooking otherwise you just let it heat up on medium heat for some more time and retry the bead test again. By using this method, the food does not stick to your pan and you don't have to use a lot of grease as well.Cleaning: When it comes to cleaning the steel appliances, all you need is just some soap, vinegar and warm water. I make a mixture of Dish Soap, Vinegar and water 2:1:1 ratio and then fill it up in a spray bottle; use this to clean the steel appliances and they always come like brand new. For any sticky and stubborn food residue, I soak the pan with hot water and the above mixture overnight then tackle it in the morning. If it still doesn't come out then I add 1 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of water and 1 TSP of dish soap concentrate to the pan and heat it on stove until the whole mixture starts boiling, then scrub it with a brush or anything with a handle; you have to be careful as the contents will be boiling hot. They always come out super clean. I rarely use a steel wool as that will ruin the finish of the stainless steel.Overall, a high quality stock pot. Highly recommend to anyone!!!

Amazing
I ended up with these after much research and back and forth regarding sets of pots and pans. I wanted a stainless option after realizing non-stick pans can be toxic...even my gorgeous GreenPan set :(. I was looking at All Clad and ultimately went with this set. They are pretty heavy but sturdy, have a nice look, and the handles aren't uncomfortable (I'd read reviews that the All Clad handles were awkward/not ergonomic). I was really wanting a set that you came with a lid for the fry pans and was kind of bummed that this didn't picture that buuuuut....bonus! The lids fit both the frying pans. They're stainless instead of glass, but it's easy enough to just peak underneath the lid to check on your food.Overall I'm extremely happy with these pans. There's a bit of a learning curve when using stainless since you have to heat the pan and make it non-stick. Since this set is 5 ply, they're a bit thicker and therefore take a few minutes longer to pre-heat but it's not a big deal.

I like it more everytime I cook with it!
I've been using a cheaper, non-stick type wok with a flat bottom. This Kitchen Aid 15 inch wok is MUCH better! The 5 layer construction with the aluminum core is deceptively heavy and heats evenly all the way up the sides. The wok is beautiful to look at...the outside looks like a mirror. When I first got it, after washing, I heated it slowly and applied some cooking oil with a paper towel, letting cool slowly. First time I used it, I made fried rice and had some issues with the egg getting cooked onto the surface. It cleaned up but I had to use soap & water to get it cleaned. I continued warming the wok and lightly oiling it after each use. Each time I've used it (and re-seasoned it), it seems to have less problems with sticking and the cleanup is easier. Last use, I made a sticky beef recipe. I was able to clean it this time with just spraying it with hot tap water, wiping it dry with at towel and heating/re-oiling the pan. I also bought a "Lodge" brand 15" glass lid and it works perfectly on the wok! The price is about equal to a high end, carbon steel wok but without all of the hassles and seasoning issues. I can't say enough good things about it! Hard to beat Kitchen-Aid products. Would highly recommend to anyone!
