Awesomely powerful dehumidification in compact unit
This dehumidifier instantly proved how well it works for me, by filling its reservoir with about half a cup of water a day in our very moist (70 percent humidity) San Francisco bay area home. What I love about this unit is how easy it is to use, and how much moisture it pulls out of the air in such a short amount of time. Dehumidifcation is a must in order to minimize risk of mold growth and a generally musty smell, so I'm delighted to have found such a marvelously effective device.This dehumidifier is small and compact enough to fit nicely into a closet, or under the bed or nightstand, and it runs quietly enough to be non-disruptive in terms of noise. The on/off switch is easy to find, and a light comes on when the unit is running, as it creates a small breeze while its fan circulates air as it goes about its business of collecting water from the air.I love how this unit comes with an adapter, so it can be plugged directly into a powerstrip, to ensure continual operation--and I love how easy this unit is to empty when it collects water each day. I've used other (chemical) dehumidfiers, and so far this is by far the most enjoyable in terms of seeing real-time how effective it is.
