Delta Diamond Ripper Pro Premium 4 Inch X .250 Crack Chaser Diamond Blade, 7/8"-5/8" Arbor, V Shaped for Crack Repair in Concrete, Asphalt (4" X 1/4")

Needed a crack chasing blade this size, normal supplier lead time was 7 days , ordered this blade on the off chance it was actually worth the price. All I’m going to say is WOW! Not only did this blade produce amazing results, it out lasted suppliers blades that are 3 times more expensive. Used it on crack chasing saw on 75 y/o concrete on a Military Airfield that was mixed with river rock and did amazing! Will definitely be buying more!

Before investing in the diamond ripper I was using large concrete grinding wheels for the same purpose of chasing cracks in my driveway to then fill with sealer. Living in the midwest I have a horrendous time of keeping cracks from destroying my driveway and having to replace the concrete every few years. While using a general grinding wheel I would spend most of the afternoon working on chasing one crack and ended up burning out my grinder. New grinder and this puppy in place reduced the time to open the crack to a matter of minutes. My only caution I would add to this attachment is that it literally rips through concrete like butter so be very careful with the grinder when you're following the crack if you don't want to do more damage to your driveway or cause unnecessary grooves in the surface...

Used it on driveway to grind cracks so they can be filled in. Worked great, held up great. Did just what I needed it for. Great value for the money.

This is one aggressive blade, so start off slowly and hold onto your grinder firmly as you get the feel of its ability. I liked this blade from the very beginning as it cuts into concrete quickly and effortlessly, leaving a nice clean chamfered edge. Also very good at removing old dried up expansion joint caulk. After chasing 70' feet of concrete, there are no signs of wear. Pressed-in 7/8" to 5/8" brass adapter bushing included.

First time ever using a chaser blade. Had about 10' total length I needed to open up in concrete. The blade bounced a bit so have to take it slow. Cut quickly and accurately. Blew out all dust/ debris and used a self leveler caulk to finish up .Looks great!

This was my first review: "Just worked for 60 ft, the central ring was separated from the blade as shown in the pic. In fact, the blade worked very well at the very beginning. I need to have return." After the help from the customer services of the seller, the ring was just "adaptor". This could be held or removed & fit for different grinders. I am now using Ryobi. This worked very well for the repair crack of my concrete patio.
