So yummy! Perfect gluten free substitute
The media could not be loaded. I live in Hawaii and finding these things is hard. So much more affordable ordering here and they are packaged in an extra thick box! They came in perfect condition. The flavor of these is so good, especially when soaked with espresso and made into a tiramisu. They don’t need to soak long as they are delicate, but so good. Brought the best flavor to my tiramisu.

Tiramisu!!!
I got these because i haven't had tiramisu in over 15 years since i went gluten free. Worked great! Don't remember what it normally tastes like. Only reason for 4 stars is the price and the fact that probably 80%+ were broken. For tiramisu that worked fine. They werent crumbled but broken into 2-3 pieces. The cookies are large enough that it didn't matter. No ones gonna notice in tiramisu. Wish they were a more reasonable price.

A Sicilian/Italian in love with GF ladyfingers
I'm Sicilian/Italian, so non-gluten-free Tiramisu was a staple in my house growing up. Upon diagnosis with Celiac disease I was distraught thinking of all the great Italian food I could no longer enjoy...but then I found Schar. I believe Schar is one of the best gluten free (GF) brands out there--the products are reliably good and even when I haven't tried a specific variety, I'm almost certain to be impressed. Those who have gone through the trial and error of finding good GF products will understand this sentiment.I live in the middle of nowhere Wyoming and our local stores have a very poor selection of GF products, so I started searching Amazon for GF items and was hopeful when I saw that Schar made Ladyfingers. These are amazing GF ladyfingers, but it is important to understand that GF ladyfingers cannot and will not act exactly like wheat-containing ladyfingers. I've learned when making tiramisu, it is important to dip these ladyfingers in your espresso/liquor mixture for much longer than you would with ladyfingers that contain wheat--the liquid isn't absorbed by these ladyfingers too quickly which can result in a dry tiramisu if you aren't prepared. While these ladyfingers don't have the exact taste or mouth feel of non-GF ladyfingers (honestly,a GF product will NEVER have the exact taste/texture of a product made of wheat), I don't have any other viable options and am thrilled that I am able to use these Schar Ladyfingers.

Made Gluten-Free Tiramisu and My Friends Could Not Tell The Difference!
I am a relatively new Celiac and used to be an avid baker. Needless to say going gluten free has rocked the boat in terms of my old baking rules and regimes. Anyway, tiramisu is one of my all time favorite desserts. I have so missed it! I was hosting a party and made a half dozen different dessert shooters and gave my tiramisu a go with these. I was skeptical, but they worked wonderfully! Out of the package they do not taste great IMHO, but soaked in expresso and allowed to sit for a few hours once made they turned out fabulous! No one was able to tell that the tiramisu was gluten free and it was a top hit all night. For those of you in the GF world, you can appreciate this as a huge advantage. They were pricey but I would totally buy again for tiramisu. I hope this helps you in making a purchasing decision!*I dredged them in expresso (did not let them sit, but dredged until dripping) and then combined/assembled the tiramisu. I dished them and let them sit covered in the fridge overnight. They were soaked but not grainy or mushy. Perfect texture!

Good flavor but dissolve in liquid
Unusable for tiramisu or other desserts that will require them to come in contact with any moisture. These are closer to meringues in texture and sturdiness than ladyfingers.
