Shift knob replacement Civic 8th Gen.
Needed to replace the shift knob in my Civic. Found this one on Amazon for a good price.The real surprising thing about this knob is if you look it up on the web as to how to replace it, youwould find it. Apparently, it's too simple a operation to do for it to have info on how to do it.The hint came from looking at the knob and realizing what you have to do is grab the boot dustcover by the silver ring and pull it down then unscrew the knob and then pop the boot plastic from the mountthen pull the boot cover up. You'll see how the rest goes after you get it off. Fits like factorywould buy another, very good quality.

Replaced boot in 2007 Honda Civic EX. Went in easily and perfectly. Like that the plastic ring for screws comes already attached.

Perfect fit!
As I've seen others report, the plastic base was cracked and unusable. I simply used the base from the original shift boot for installation. Easy install on my 2006 Civic EX.

This item is ok for the price.
What I like about this product is that it’s completely identical to same part on my car. What I do not like is that the frame underneath the leather cover is made of extremely flimsy plastic, when I opened the package the plastic was broken and 1 of the 4 screw hole parts was completely broken off but it was in the package. I was ok with it because I have 5min epoxy which glued it back together and the gear shifter was cheap to buy so I didn’t mind fixing it. But to warn you if another big box drops on top of your package during shipment it will break somehow no doubt about it.

Looks and Fits like the stock boot
I am very happy with the quality and fit of this shift boot. It fit my 2011 Honda Civic sedan perfect and took 3 minutes to install

Replaced my 2007 Honda Civic oem dried up peeling shifter boot cover with this beauty.Very good bang for the buck.Easy install and fits perfect.Before I know it "Bazinga" I'm shifting gears down the road in style again 😁

Fits, and works well, but quality isn’t perfect.
Boot fit my ‘07 civic as advertised, but I find it is a bit twisted in the way it was manufactured so it does not sit perfectly straight on my shifter.
