I used this to remove some old EternaBond tape and prep for new tape. It worked really well. Was easy to use and easy to remove the old adhesive and filth. It is expensive, and a bottle doesn't go as far as you would think it would, but it works really well at removing the old tape and cleaning just about anything on your surface (tree sap, dirt, adhesives, etc).

Works as described, easier to use than the stinky stuff in the cans. Minimal fuss and mess, just point and spray, wipe with a textured rag and you'll be amazed the grime that comes up. I used this to prep around a skylight opening on my aluminum roof and it works quickly with minimum odor. If you're going through all the trouble to make repairs just do it right the first time before you lay down your putty, sealant, eterna bond tape etc. I used this spray to also remove silicone residue and it worked great. Maybe I go the extra mile but also used a heat gun to 'burn off' any residue before laying down sealant tape putty etc.

It is a product that does as expected. It definitely cleans up areas that you are preparing to place eternabond tape. I was surprised, but in a good way, how much came off when I sprayed areas. The only thing about product is it is a little pricey.Overall, it did an excellent job cleaning and would buy again.

Decent cleaner. Sprays too hard and straight so small area control is a challenge so it's a bit wasteful. Has 'prep' properties to help with the EPDM Eternabond tape. Works well.

Did the trick. I used the cleaner and primer then the tape to go over existing caulking. There was some leaking before but I haven't detected any since the application. My rv is small with little storage space but will keep a bit in the rv in case there are new surprises. The product was easy to use. I was working with an 8ft strip. Be sure to leave the vinyl on the sticky sided until positioned correctly or you may get tangled and taped yourself! I had a few issues where it was difficult to pull the protective vinyl away from the adhesive but all seems to have worked out. I used this to reseal the front and back end caps. The back required an overlapping strip to cover the thickness of the prior caulking. The ladder seemed a bit shaky at the roof and the caulking appeared to be cracking to I used the tape there and the ladder seems to be much more stable now.Thank you for

I ordered this because all the YouTube videos I saw about applying Eternabond tape said it was good to use. Worked perfectly. Took up dirt and grime I didn't think would ever come off and prepped the area for the tape.

This is a fine solvent, but I found it difficult to use for its intended purpose of cleaning up a roof seam before sealing with Eternabond tape. Most of the volatile spray would evaporate before reaching the surface I needed to clean! I finally gave up and just used lacquer thinner (in a non-spray can) with good results. I suppose I could have tried spraying the Eternaclean directly into a rag (no air space) and wiping it on, but that would seem to defeat the purpose of a spray can, right?

I had a very small issue with my camper slide roof. I contemplated just using the Eternabond roof repair without the cleaner and glad I didn’t. The product worked great and seems to apply a chemical activation for the Eternabond roof tape. Be warned; be very careful with the roof tape, once down it is down. Plan ahead and avoid trying to go around corners. You may have to apply in a couple of layers for these applications. I would definitely recommend this product and advise you to carry it as well as the repair tape in your camper for emergencies.

Cleans surfaces extremely well .. can even help to remove surface layers of plastic to "rejuvenate" them (just be sure to polish the surface after). This is a bit pricey but probably well worth the cost -if- in fact you follow manufacturer directions and their product lives up to the hype. Perhaps a little prevention to prevent the need for a massive repair expense.

I was pretty amazed with this stuff. Took sap, bird poo and other tough to get out stains right off with easy. Literally no effort required. I highly recommend this product!!
