This fit my computer perfectly. I ordered the clear and it enhances the beautiful color of the laptop. Serves its purpose. Does not protect against any type of fall, including sliding off the couch. I had to order a second one because the less than 2ft drop cracked it. In fairness I do not think this was advertised with any type of impact protection. My computer is still perfectly fine.

Fits great, protects laptop, strong and sturdy

I've used this brand before on my 2019 MacBook Pro so went ahead and got one again for the M2 Air 13.6'' -As expected it was easy to install, the color (black) is what was described and it looks good - adds a bit of a squared edge look which goes well. It's not as clear as I thought it would be, I have the midnight Air and with the case on all you can see is the black of the case. This is not a problem as I'm not looking to advertise I have a Mac anyway in public and black is a good background for stickers or anything I choose to add.My only issue with this case is that it came a little warped on the lid cover from the factory. Everything is snug on the bottom and sides but the area around where the camera slot is happens to be about 4-8mm too warped so there is a gap. This makes it to where every time I open the lid if I don't grip it a certain way it feels like I'm going to pull the case off. Not a huge deal but definitely can tell I will need to buy another one after a few months of use as it is only going to get more loose as time goes on.Overall for $13 bucks I doubt you'll find anything much better - and even if the case is a bit loose it beats messing up the finish on such an expensive device.

First off, very easy to install and fairly easy to remove. I thought it’d be a pain to remove when I noticed dust under the cover, but snapped off easily. I purchased the transparent case for my Starlight M2 MacBook Air and it looks seamless. As far as durability and protection, the case is rather thin, so I mainly purchased it to protect my MacBook from scratches and to put stickers on it (as seen with a vinyl decal I added in the last photo). Finally, there is a minuscule gap and the MacBook won’t fully shut, but that’s to be expected as the Air is extremely thin and the case needs to clip onto something. I love that the case is molded to fit the rubber feet of the MacBook Air and even comes with extra rubber stickers for the feet of the case.

Thick enough and easy to put. So far quite protective

Works, it’s a good protective case, even though it showed up to my house with some tiny cracks and scratches. Was very frustrating but I did only pay 10 dollars for it so…

I got this hard shell to protect my new M2 Mac Air, which is used for travel and around the house. The nice thing is the shell fits really well and goes on easily and will take the brunt of scratches and provide some protection on small dings. I got the clear case since I wanted to see the Midnight color (very dark blue/gray) of the Macbook, however the shell is so shiny that in most cases, the laptop appears more silver. Doesn't bother me, but something to consider if you go with the clear. I'm sure as the fine scratches accumulate it will be less reflective. I also put a few stickers on the case, partly to hide the Apple logo (make it less attractive to a casual thief) and to personalize it in the sea of look-alike laptops out there.So far I'm very happy with this and since it doesn't add a lot of bulk the Macbok Air remains an easy to carry, light every day machine. This would be a great solution of students carrying an Air in their backpack if they care about keeping the laptop free from external scratches. I have no concerns with throwing this laptop into a backpack now!Update May 2023. After using this case for the last 5+ months, my only complaint is the corners are cracking and some small parts of plastic have broken off feom the corners. I haven't seen this before with other cases I have on other Macbooks but maybe this MBA gets bounced around a bit more? I am very careful with my equipment and suspect the clear case is harder, therefore more brittle? Otherwise, it's holding up well and there are no other cracks or damage on it and the Macbook is continuing to be well protected.
