Nature's Eats Pecan Pieces, Natural, 24 Ounce

Natures Eats brand Pecans are delicious and very fresh. I have purchased this brand several times and I am very happy with this product. I use them in all my baking and just to eat alone. Delicious flavor good looking pecans in a large bag. Will continue to purchase, fairly priced.

"Pieces" is accurate. The picture depicts chopped, but the term pieces and what I got are more accurate. I have no problem with these, or how large or small the pieces are. The picture makes it look like they are "chopped" which tend to be smaller pieces. These are more of what I expected with the term "pieces". Somewhere between halves and chopped. Reminds me of products that are actually labeled as "halves and pieces". Need smaller? The fix? Get out your chopper. Pecans are super easy to chop. If you truly need a small cut pecan then choose something called chopped.I didn't have a specific need for these. I like to keep pecans on hand for toss in hot oats or in occasional baking. I never care what form they are in. I suspect there is some variability in what you may get. If you really dont care (like me), then you will find these to be just fine. Good quality, fresh, reasonable price. I'd buy these again.

Good product

I suffer from occasional kidney stones. All tree nuts contain oxalate that causes kidney stones. Pecans and Pistachios have the least amount of oxalate of all tree nuts. I purchased these pecan pieces to add some to my oatmeal, and to my barley/flaxseed smoothies because of their health benefits. These pecan peices are very fresh and taste great.

Just what we needed.

I order these, because of value, taste and low carb. Compared to other nuts.

Note:When judging pecans it is important to know that Nov. through Jan. is picking season in the south. Any nuts you order for the next year are considered this seasons pick, even if they are a year old.My experience:So considering that these are being received in late Sept, and that they have some aging going these were still very good, no dried out shriveled nuts in the bag, minimal oxidization ( darkening of color) and surprisingly large pieces, in fact most would qualify as halves. Flavor is sweet and no traces of no bitterness. Very good.

This is the second time I've ordered these. In fact, I purchased two bags this time. I keep them in the freezer to keep them fresh. This is a great price for a good product. I use them for cooking, as well as eating them right from the bag. The one I have gotten have been very good. I have tasted a not so good pecan maybe three times, through two bags of nuts. I am very, very pleased with my purchase! The price is great as well, I will be back to buy more! Keep up the good work!
