Mine doesn’t release by the catch, have to use both hands to release it. I wanted to be able to release with one hand

I brought this as I was unable to get a replica of my usual tourniquet.I’ve tried with it but I am not overly impressed. It won’t be good on bigger arms and doesn’t seem to have a gentle release.

Poor quality
Tried the tourniquet on myself but struggled with the release. Tried again off the arm and still had the same issue. Very poor quality. Certainly wouldn't recommend it to my fellow nursing colleagues.
