Overall a very functional holster, especially for the price.
For the price this hoslter holds in extremely well. It is versatile and capable of carrying a wide range of weapons and concealable. It is very adjustable to almost any size you may need to fit any sized leg. The velcro is very strong. Overall a very functional holster, especially for the price.

Better than Cabela’s
I’d give this a 5 because it is so much better than the one I purchased at Cabela’s Theirs lost their elasticity on about the 5th time I wore it. This one is still going strong and I have been wearing it every weekday for the past couple weeks.

Will not stay up with low shoes like the picture shows
This looked to be well built and held the gun nicely, but would slip all the way down to your shoe within a few steps. This would work if you had ankle high boots on and let the gun rest on the top of the boot. The pics in the ad are misleading. I returned this and bought one with a calf strap too.

Multi Mouse Gun Owner Praise & And A Tip To Employ - ONE YEAR PLUS UPDATE
First the Tip - wear a high cotton sock on the leg which you have the holster secured. I was carryingwith this holster (Glock42) and loved it but felt some slight movement when wearing low ankle socks. After putting on a shin high crew sock under the holster it stopped all movement and was so secure thatI often forget I am wearing it and carrying a CW.I purchased this holster back in 2017 and had forgotten about it. I recently discovered it in my gear tubof unused or discarded holsters of dubious usefulness. Since then I have been wearing this holster daily.Mouse guns fit beautifully and securely in this holster. I find that this holster is perfect for EDC duty.Even easy to access while seated in a vehicle! S&W J Frame snubbies, G42, G43X, and Kahr CW/CT 380'sno problem. I'm sure that your own similarly sized gun will find a happy home in this holster.Be sure and try the sock thing you will be astounded how much it can improve an already great holster.1/10/23 - Still wearing this holster on an almost daily basis. All the above still applies.Often forget that I have it on and always wearing a cotton crew sock to help orient the holsteron my right leg and to keep it from shifting. Very comfortable and no rotation like it mightdo on bare skin. The holster is not showing any wear that makes it less secure. Even at that I bought a sparebecause they are a bargain at the current price. Actually I am writing this because I was on Amazonjust now giving thought to purchasing a 3rd one. For fun I think I might wear one on each ankle !!!Good idea for a 'New York' reload.Gun in the holster is a G42 and it is flat and hides well. A perfect size for this holster.A Kahr CT 380 (7 ctg. in mag.) is also a great choice and a good sized gun for larger hands.A S&W J frame (642) fits well and carries just as well but is slightly more bulky.A G43X (10 ctg. in mag) is getting close to perhaps too much gun in this holster, FOR ME.Which size/length of this holster to order I am not sure. When I measure the onethat I am using now (old one) it measures at 16" across the top which falls between the2 sizes they offer. Perhaps mine has stretched but it has always fit correctly.I am 5'10" and about 250 lbs. Got fairly large legs but not fat ankles, FYI.I think that most of the criticisms on this holster may be due to using too largeof a gun or not wearing a sock of some type under the band. The guns which I mentionabove fit very snugly into the elastic pouch. The strap is not an issue, it secures the gun well enough. If you're running for some reason it MIGHT be a concern. Otherwise, no problemo.STAY IN A CONDITION OF RELAXED AWARENESS IN ALL SITUATIONSHope this information is instructive

It’s not bad for the money.
Not the best quality but for the money, it’ll do.

Fits great, firearm secure and safe. You'll forget it's there!
**Fits a Taurus GX4 (9mm) perfectly. Thought I'd call that out first in case anyone is searching for a drop holster for this firearm. If you go any bigger than a GX4, you're going to have some problems concealing it wearing your average boot-cut or reg-fit pants. This would probably be even more ideal for a 380 -- the GX4 is pushing the limit.Ex-US Army Infantry (2006-2010) and have carried most of my adult life. This is honestly the most comfortable, best-fitting holster I've ever had. I've carried a lot for a prior job using drop-thigh holsters, IWB's, and out of waist band. IWB holsters are an easy reach and have a ton of options and styles available, but man, they cut into the hip pretty good and are annoying when driving. I moved across the country a few years ago, and I was out for a late night walk a few weeks ago when I came across some individuals robbing a construction site. Completely unarmed and in gym sweats and a jacket, walking away from that, I realized it's time to start carrying again. I wanted something that fit snug but wasn't difficult to conceal. IWB + sweats don't really work that well. This thing is great.I wish I could give this 10 stars. I'm so glad I came across this one; the GX4 gets a little heavy when loaded + an extra loaded mag to carry. I'm really happy I went with this one that has the attached calf strap. If I went with a pure ankle-only holster, the firearm would probably be wobbling all over the place. It is definitely breathable. When I take the holster off, I don't get that rush of cool air like you would if it was made of any other material. My only complaint is I wish the snaps were a little quieter. If I was ever in a situation where I needed to draw due to a 10-71, I'd be a little worried about making noise.I wear this daily, even though I work from home and sit at my desk. I'll speak to durability in a couple months!

Great concept, just not great for women
As a small woman (5’4” and 120 lbs), it’s been a struggle to find good holsters that will not show on my person. I’ve given up on any waist or belly holster as they show pretty drastically with the clothes I wear. Short of buying a whole new wardrobe of baggy jeans and t-shirts (which I will not do), I’ve been stuck with using a handbag. I realize that’s not always the best thing to do (and some of the designs are still pretty bad, fashion-wise), so I was excited to try this ankle holster now that wide leg and flare pants have come back in popularity. I took pictures with the widest pants I have. For reference, I’m carrying a Taurus TX 22 Compact (I like my 22, so buzz off). It’s still pretty obvious that there is a gun on my ankle. I think the only way I could make it work is to get a tiny, tiny gun. I may be a woman, but *I* would even feel emasculated pulling one of those out. The logistics aside, the holster fits really well and the Velcro feels very secure. The elastic bands for the gun itself are very tight and strong and I would feel very secure in the knowledge it ain’t going anywhere. I highly recommend if you can successfully hide it.
