the best. i’m an italian & armenian and have been using these for over 10 years
i have been using these razors since my late teens. my ethnicities are on the thicker side of body hair - okay, the thickest. these razors are the ONLY ones that get my legs smooth, without irritation, without dying or rusting after one use (provided you pat them on a towel and let him dry outside the shower - i’ve noticed his makes a huge difference), exfoliate your skin regularly (and change out your loofah/wash your washcloths/or just buy a luvscrub and have the SMOOTHEST skin head to toe), AND THEY ARE SO AFFORDABLE. every now and then, i see some new razor with all these claims (thanks, instagram) and i have fallen into these little traps. while some are fine, none get as close of a shave. and these have 0 bulk around the edges - which is a huge problem with women's razors. my legs used to get ingrown hairs and bumps after shaving all the time to the point it looked like a poison ivy rash or something - i don’t know what EXACTLY was the problem, but i finally have a regime that doesn’t cause any. SO here’re some tips for anyone whose hair growth is rapid, black, dense (2-3 hairs per follicle/a nightmare), and with a tendency to ingrow: — EXFOLIATE exfoliate exfoliate BEFORE you shave, NEVER after. invest in a LuvScrub (google it). it is 100% worth the $18 and the more you use it, the smoother your skin will be. i genuinely didn’t know my skin could be so smooth. skin that i thought was smooth got EVEN smoother - it is game changer). i don’t work for them. i wish i did, so i can get every color. but i don’t. — dry brush any day you don’t shave. and if you can’t or don’t (i get it, i’m lazy, too), i suggest taking a bath and exfoliating the f out of your skin before shaving. i find shaving in the bath gets the absolute best results. plus it’s relaxing. — if your hair grows fast and thick (hi!), and it’s been a week or more since your last shave, don’t go right into normal shaving - instead do a down shave (shave in the direction your hair grows). your skin will not be smooth, in fact it’ll be all stubble. but this accomplishes two things: exfoliating your skin downwards tends to release a lot of ingrown hairs and dead skin, which when shaved normally, end up as a nick or a red bump. also - you will have less hair in your razor to clean out, and the next time you shave normally, it’ll be infinitely easier to rinse the razor off. — find your holy grail shaving cream. i used skintimate a lot as a teen and in my early 20s, thinking the strawberry or raspberry one was it for me - but results were inconsistent, and over time the fragrance really started irritating my skin. then i started using my partner’s shaving cream, NIVEA FOAMING GEL for SENSITIVE SKIN, and all my shaving cream problems were solved. — lastly, MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you take nothing else away from what i’ve said, let it be this: MOISTURIZE YOUR LEGS/SKIN IMMEDIATELY AFTER. do NOT dry off. moisturize while your skin is still wet. just brush excess water off with your hands, and moisturize ASAP, lock that moisture in. i do it right after i turn the water off, while i’m still in the shower. this is the most CRUCIAL step. if i not do this right after, my skin will get so dry and irritate it will feel on fire. especially after shaving. it is also soothing and calming. the perfect thing to use? virgin cold pressed coconut oil (the kind that hardens and melts depending room temperature). i use the one from trader joe’s - it’s high quality, comes in a glass jar, and is cheap. i don’t know if i have to say this, but just in case, make sure it’s fragrance fee. if not coconut oil, palmer’s cocoa butter. the hard stuff that comes in a big canister. for the coconut oil, you will want to transfer a couple weeks worth into a smaller container. i use an extra wide mouth mason jar that is only 1-2 inches high. this PREVENTS CONTAMINATION of the rest of the coconut oil you paid good money for. and that way you can store the coconut oil at a consistent temperature. if you hate both of those, and prefer a regular ass lotion - Aveeno’s Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion - it’s what i use on my upper body, and the moisture lasts. i don’t have dry skin, but i take long showers, so if i don’t moisturize. i have desert dry craving skin. sorry this is so long. but i wish i had a guide on how to deal with thick fast growing body hair when i was 12. so hopefully it helps somebody out there! please magnum 5 or whoever makes these - never stop.

Best Razor, Best America!
I am over fifty years of age and I shave every day. I have tried just about every razor on the market seeking the closest, smoothest shave possible! I did not mind the cost of the razors. The last brand that I was using was Gillette. Recently I read a Men's Magazine review of the best razor and was surprized to read that it was not Gillette. I knew I had to try it. I did and WOW!!! The shave experience was the BEST of my LIFE! No knicks or cuts. I was floored also by the much lower cost compared to what I was used to paying. Finally, I found out that the razors were manufactured right here in the Good Ole United States of America! This sealed the deal for me. Not only was I able to enjoy the best shave, at a huge cost savings, but I was helping to turn around our nations unemployment problem with every razor that I purchased. I took a moment then to think about what if evey man who shaves in the USA switched to this great razor for one year and see the difference for themselves. Would we end unemployment in our country? Just a Thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect
I've been buying it for 15 years. This brand works the best with me. One blade lasts for about 20 shaves taking into account that I always take shower before that to make hair softer and easier to shave.

The economical replacement blade
I am very happy with the quality and pricing of these blades compared to the big companies that charge substantially more for their products. I used to be able to pick these up my local Stop and Shop Supermarket, however, they do not have them as a readily available as they used to. They usually only have one or two replacement blades available and do not get much in terms of replenishments. I decided to check Amazon and was happy to find they had the blades for sale.
