I need to say that even though this is not gentle on your feet, it is a great mat for people who have issues with their feet standing in the shower. Why? Thank you and thumbs up!I decided to get rid of it because my hair kept ending up in the mat, my feet were kind of getting poked by the mat but every man I bought since has made me feel very scared I would slip in the shower.I have a tub that does not sloped down to let the soap out. Most tubs have a gentle slope so that the soap from your shampoo and the conditioner will go down the drain.I do not know why but mine does not slope very much at all. In fact it seems like water continually makes a pool in the front and it now rusts underneath that.So what happens is the soap and conditioner builds up towards my feet and it gets on the mat, then I start to slip. Without a more bath mat I definitely slip in the shower. My young nephew slipped in the shower last time he stayed over. He did not use a bath mat.This is the only bath mat I know that will definitely keep me from slipping and I can have peace of mind and take my shower using my coconut oil conditioner.

The mat's design is great and provides a workout for your feet. For some, I could see that the massage capability may be a bit too aggressive. My wife and I both really like the massage.As the mat's only been in use for a few days, well have to wait to see how it holds-up (cleaning, resilience, etc.). As of today, the mat is nothing less than an excellent product!Update: May 15, 2019The mat is still just like "new"! Just ordered and received a second unit (as a replacement - for whenever the first one wears out - no signs of that, anytime soon).

The Product was as described to exactly represent it , the shipping was timely and quick , and you must understand that as stated , the mat was in itself is solid and good quality , one reason I got it was as a diabetic with Neuropathy I try anything that might provide stimulation and blood flow to my feet. UNFORTUNATELY as the seller also stated folks with sensitive feet may not find it very pleasant and very hard and I'm not sure I can tolerate it long enough for it to soften . the ONLY reason for the low rating is to warn others who might have my issues and my thinking... understand this is MY problem not the sellers or even the product really , I rolled the dice and hit snake eyes , it happens

Two concerns.The suction cups do not provide suction to our marble shower floor. It is the only shower mat we have ever had that did not adhere with suction.If used in the shower, I suggest the mat first be soaked in water for a period of time. The massaging bristles were stiff until the third or fourth shower. Then they were fine.Provides relatively safe footing and drains well.

This product was just what I was looking for in shower foot massage. I had previously used the grass style shower mats which actually were very disgusting due to trapping everything that fell off of the body and were very difficult to clean, but not with this product. This product is much easier to clean and provides a much more aggressive and active massage to the bottoms of my feet while I am showering. If you truly want a foot massage while showering this is the bathmat to purchase.

Even after leaving it outside for 3 Weeks, (and now it's past the return date), once I brought it in to my shower, (and it's much smaller than wanted so need to use 2 mats in my square shower), .. it gives off a smell that hurts my head and nose! AWFUL. Must be Very Toxic. :( and now past the return date!

I really like the massage option of this bath mat. It was a little prickly to start with (I stood on it barefoot outside of the shower) but softens up in the shower with warm water. I love the feel but need to pay attention to it because it is easy to ignore once you get involved in washing. I just wish there was a bigger option or a round option as it does not cover enough of my square shower and two would be too big. I just move it around a bit as I shower.

I don't worry about slipping in the tub. I don't mind that it's a bit uncomfortable to stand on, because it sure makes cleaning the tub a lot easier. My husband likes it because he says I don't spend as much time in the shower. (He uses a different shower.) When I'm finished with my shower, I make sure I rinse all the soapy residue out of it and it dries clean and always looks nice.
