W80541 | 12" Long Feeler Blade Set

I bought these for my husband for work. He loves them. They are perfect for his job, and the quality is great!!

Hard to find a metric only feeler gauge locally. Everybody sells combination SAE/Metric feeler gauges. Blades were soaked in oil, so I had to give them all a good wipe down before I checked them with my digital caliper. Thought it was missing a couple of the smaller gauges, but they were just stuck together with oil. Measured all the gauges with my digital caliper, and they were all pretty much spot on except .04 through .09 mm. All those were .01 mm small according to my digital caliper. .04 was .03 and so on all the way to .09. Just measured the tip of the gauges, so they could have been spot on at other areas of the feeler gauge surface. These are good enough for what I need them to do, and right now that is to properly adjust a throttle position sensor.

Just as they describe. These are being used to set the point gap on my 1971 vehicle and to double check spark plug gap. The tools has worked great so far and I do not see any issues with it provided standard care.

Used it on my 08 civic for valve adjustments....This is an awesome little tool. It doesn't allow you to "cheat" on a valve adjustment leaving it too loose. Just need to worry about too tight using this. I used this with a set of standard angle feelers, checked my valve clearance twice, torqued down and voila! Done without any worry.

I got this to use for measuring saxophone mouthpiece facings, odd as it sounds. Way more options than the ones actually marketed for that, at less cost. It does its job, but I noticed on the packaging a warning stating that "This product and its packaging contain materials known to the state of California to cause cancer." Say what you will about California; at least one state government is willing to inform its people rather than take the payoffs to look away. I rarely use this so I'll probably be alright, but if I got into refacing I'd get something that isn't a health risk, and I won't be buying another of these.

Use them daily doing lifter jobs

I think they soaked this tool in an oil bath for a week, pulled it from the bath and shipped it right out. The amount of oil on this tool is insane. That said, the oil might well be necessary to ensure to adjacent, smaller blades don't stick together and give inaccurate readings. So, assuming that's the case, I'm giving it 5 stars. Stick to blades for measuring spark plug gaps!

Excelente herramienta, viene con demasiado aceite lo que dificulta su manipulación al principio pero cumple su función. En relación Precio / Calidad está muy bien.
