Professional, and these are horrid for dry use and only minimal for wet uwe
The only thing halfway decent about this set seems to be the mounting pad. It's a little more rigid then I would like but I can see the rigidity being useful. The Sandpaper pads however are all very poor quality. For dry use anything above 200 grit starch leaving material behind on your surface which is unacceptable. I was doing some Granite touch up and it started burnishing at 1500 RPM. With a lot of work I was able to get the burnishing out with another product I'm finished with that product up to 4000 Grit. Under wet use it's not really that much better but at least it's partially acceptable. If it were the only product on Earth we'd have to get used to it but thank God it's not, or I might have to go back to doing it by hand. Would get better results in the end anyway

Hint
After reading other reviews about the disks snapping when removing them from the backer pad. I slipped a 1" putty knife between the pad and the disk and rocked the knife back and forth, they came off in one piece. My angle grinder is not variable speed, it is 11,000 rpms, twice the recommended speed of the pads. But if you make sure the pads are centered exactly on the backer, they will not come off. I used water on only the last two grits, 1500 & 3000. The granite looks great, went from a dry cut masonry blade, to 3000 grit polish. Very pleased.

Brittle, slow.
Trash. The pads are extremely stiff and brittle, making them prone to digging in an edge and marking your surface. They crack easily, and they are much slower than another brand of pad that I’ve used. Using them to take slurry off a concrete countertop, an 800 grit of the other brand was more effective at removing material than a 100 grit in these pads. Steer clear, total waste of money.

Works beautifully for geodes!!
Fan. Tastic! I recently bought a crate of geodes (random, I know...). The majority of them are nearly solid with little hollow centers, leaving far more area to polish. I bought this kit to simply attach to my angle grinder after cutting them in half with my tile saw. All I do is polish them for a few seconds and dip the stone under running water. Obviously, this isn't the correct way to do this, but moving from the 50 up to the 3000 grit, I've done about 50 halves so far (ranging from 3"-8" in diameter). The final sheen with 3k grit gives them is amazing!

Caution! Don't use on anything you want to look nice!
These pads left black and brown streaks and stains on my brand new concrete counter top! They are super brittle and two of them cracked in half as I was trying to pull it off the Velcro. I was just using a normal hand grinder/polisher and it seemed like the pads wouldn't cut or polish worth anything so I had to apply a little bit of pressure and then they basically started smearing the black plastic/rubber/resin all over. I had to go get different pads from a friend to buff out the stains and it was extremely difficult to do.

Muchas gracias .

Doesn't leave a smooth polish.
This product did not perform to the standards that reviews said it would. I was using this product on quartz. It did not polish accurately the higher gauge pads scarred and couldn't be buffed out later. Also the plastic backerccracked almost as soon as I try to take it off of the buffing wheel. Cheap! I do not recommend this. I use this product for dry application. Not sure if it works better with water*

Does the job as descrbied.
I used these to refinish my marble floor in my bath room. They worked as described. Only one disc started to separate from itself after use (800 grit). Make sure you have a 1/2 adapter for these discs, they fit an angle grinder’s head. I ended up using a variable speed right angle drill.
