50-Bonsai Lotus Seeds,Water Lily Flower Plant (Mixed Color)

The media could not be loaded.  Las puse en agua por 3 días cambiando el agua a diario , al tercer día ya se veían brotes y a medida que iban apareciendo brotes las pase a un recipiente más alto, luego cuando se abría la primera hoja las volví a pasar a uno más grande. De 10 semillas ,7 germinados. Muy feliz yo 😍

I ordered those mixed lotus' seeds, but, I'm not glad with what I received. The seeds arrived, and I just saw it was very old seeds and it was completely infested with insects and insects' excrement, I didn't opened it, and I'm returning the seeds.

The seeds sprouted in three days, about an inch by day 5 and tiny leaves about 4-5" long by day 7. This was in spring water only. The happy recipient is adding the aquatic soil and expanded clay beads this weekend. Excited to see what color the flowers will be!

Haven't planted yet but there were what appeared to be little dead moths in the sealed package amongst little tan eggs/poop stuff which I assume were dead also??? I just opened the package over a strainer type thing over the sink and rinsse the seeds in cold water and dried them off with a towel then used hot water in sink, strainer and everything else just in case so nothing got to my other plants. The seeds look nice and healthy and might update once I get to planting! I'm an extreme gardener and bugs don't bother me let alone dead ones!LOL!

I love the idea of growing these seeds. I had to go to the internet for instructions. Came in a plastic 4x4 sack. I am three days into soaking , removing the outer shell and have them in a south window. Several have sprouted and have proved they are alive. Fun to watch. Will continue this journey.

Received these seeds last Tuesday (see 3rd or right photo. Placed 3 seeds in water on Tuesday (left photo) and checked on it today, Sunday, 2 of 3 sprouted about 2.5” long, the third seed is about an 1” high.Will wait two more weeks to see how it will turn out. Just replenished it with some fresh water.The seeds did turned the water cloudy.Will give an update in a week or two and share what my observation of the posted photos are and the progress of the the seeds and will decide to keep or return the remaining seeds.Stay tuned…
