I have to have my coffee every day but with bad acid reflux, it became very hard to drink coffee at all! I discovered this brand only after my other (2) brands of low acid coffees became unavailable. I'm so glad that happened because this coffee is so much easier on my stomach. I've already re-ordered it & will continue to do so.Anything that helps my stomach is a keeper in my book. This is a smoother tasting coffee, not overly strong, but still has a good coffee flavor - unlike other coffee - that taste like coffee flavored water. But I do not like very strong coffee -- this one does make me happy. I now look forward again to making that first cup of coffee each morning.The bag does go quickly, so for me it's not the best value, but is still worth every penny.The fact that it's organic is a plus as well!

Fresh and smooth taste. Really fragrant smell. It’s just yummy!!

I'm not sure what has changed or if I've just become more aware due to having another brand of coffee Side by side. This coffee stinks and has a really terrible taste. Last couple time I ordered there was a sticker stuck over the flavor and it was changing it to another flavor. Not sure if they just ran out of bags or if they just decided to lie about which flavor I was getting. It tastes bad has an awful smell and an incorrect label on the package. This leads me to believe that I'm not even drinking low acid coffee. I used to buy this coffee all the time because the price was pretty decent I started buying the Lucy Joe's mellow belly and even though it costs a few more dollars the coffee is by far better tasting and smelling. I will never buy this coffee again. Something has definitely changed. Either that or the side by side just doesn't compare with other coffees.

I love this coffee. I find it to be a little strong (which I like) but with great flavor minus that strong sour twinge that I don’t like in coffee. A little pricey but I have one cup a day, so worth it to me. I like it so much, and can’t always find it in the store, that I added it to my subscribed items.Of course, as soon as I did that, it was suddenly unavailable as happens to so many other of my subscription items.In my haste to choose one of the suggested replacements (which I foolishly thought would be the same, just different supplier), I ended up with a giant bag of whole bean coffee.Apparently it isn’t necessary to honor any customer service on food items (I’ve received defective/incorrect perishables before) as I’m now stuck with 2+ pounds of coffee I’m going to have to spend 8 hrs grinding because it was in my house unopened for 17 minutes.But if you’re looking for a great, flavorful, easy on the tummy coffee, this is it. Just be sure to note what product you’re getting as it’s all yours once it goes in the truck.

I have been drinking this coffee for years (the French Roast), ever since diagnosed with acid reflux, and I love it! It took me about a week to get used to the flavor, as it was different than the Folgers classic I had been drinking. But I am now addicted, and I can't live without it because I need my coffee but also need to avoid triggering my reflux. This coffee meets my needs! I have tried several other low acid coffees, and this is the only one I really like. I make it pretty strong, more than one scoop per cup of water, but everyone's preference is different. When I used to make it weaker, others in my family liked it okay. Now that they take a pass. I like the smell fine, unless I leave it in the coffeemaker for a while and it gets "burned" a little. I also like that it has antioxidants in it. I hope the company never stops making this!

Recently decided if I want to continue drinking coffee (I do) I need to go low acid. I ordered several low acid coffees from several different roasters. The Puroast is my least favorite. It is the least expensive, but does not have a great fragrance and is somewhat bitter. There are others that suit my tastes much better. I will not order again.

As a fan of Starbucks, I have always loved rich, bold coffee. However, I now have gastritis and my stomach has issues with high acid foods.After care review of the varieties of low acid coffee on the market, I ordered a bag of this variety and brand. I made my first pot and am pretty impressed. The flavor is rich and bold, better than Starbucks.It is a bit pricey since I usually buy coffee on sale, however, if it works and I can continue to enjoy coffee, it will be worth the cost!

I have bought this coffee three times. It is not the best tasting. The best tasting and low acid coffee is out of my price range.My first bag of coffee looked fine and as I said, it tasted ok. I felt like I had to doctor it a bit compared to my favorite low acid coffee. My second bag actually tasted better, but it came with packaging tape over the top. I thought this was strange, but I didn’t think too much of it until I got my last batch. It too had packaging tape over the top. I carefully opened it and realized that the seal at the top was broken. My response: Shame on you for selling me a defective product. It made me wonder if they were recycling their damaged product. I threw it in the trash after reading other reviews here stating the same thing. Never again will I buy this product. I am trying some other coffee products on Amazon. So far, no issues. Shame on me for being so trusting.

I give it 5 stars. I have reflux disease and regular coffees kill my stomach. The acidity in other coffees have made it so I can't drink them at all. I relectantly gave coffee up. I decided to try Puroast. Best coffee ever. Not one stomach pain after drinking it. It taste great. I will be definite be buying more of it

If you love coffee, but have acid issues, this is the coffee for you! It took a lot of research to find these guys, but it's definitely worth the effort, and the extra cost to be able to comfortably get through several mugs of this wonderful coffee daily. The packet is larger than a conventional ground coffee package, so it does last a month or so at 1 plunger a day. Have repurchased, and will continue to do so. Absolutely brilliant.

Awesome. Loving having coffee again, as I had to stop all other coffees due to the high levels of acid. If anyone is considering this, also consider a cold-brew coffee machine. A colleague has one and it produces beautiful coffee from ordinary coffee, without any stomach problems. The advantage with Puroast is that brews in a few minutes, whereas cold brew takes hours and hours.

Received it a few days ago,just in time for breakfast ! Tried it right away and really liked it.The smell is intoxicating.And the taste just delicious.Quite 'punchy',the way I like it.A bit different from other coffees,so quite welcomed ! Can't and won't drink acidic coffee any longer ...

This coffee is good tasting, smooth and less acidic. I still have symptoms of heartburn when drinking it so I personally give it 4 stars. Definitely give it a try!
