Bought for 81year old man with limited mobility and hearing difficulties. Phone handset has large, easy to use buttons. Screen is easy to read. Volume (ring tone and listening) is brilliant for hard of hearing folk plus flashing light for incoming calls. Can be left on its base to use hands free by touching one, easy to identify, button. Four large ‘picture’ buttons give user easy access to dial a ‘frequently’ used number or emergency number - saves having to scroll through phone book. Can’t fault this phone so far. Has far more functions than needed but so what! Had a little difficulty setting the settings but easy enough if you’re used to having a smart phone! Just needs concentration. I am really pleased with this phone.

A little tricky to set up, good loud ring but when talking on the phone had a loud tin sound which I found annoying but my parents who are both hard of hearing and wear hearing aids found the sound quality annoying to say the least.

The phone generated feedback and the four programmed buttons don’t feed through to the phone. Generally unacceptable. I’m pretty tech savvy and am having difficulty… my 93 year old has no chance of working the phone…. And the second unit doesn’t seem to work either! OK the second unit is now working, a poor contact with the charging pins.

I thought this would be a great idea for my 91-year-old mother. My mother is a very simple woman, and her age as made her fear certain technologies, the answering machine attached to this phone is one of them. Unfortunately the manufacturers of this phone have decided that even when the answer phone is switched off that it will automatically open up and terminate the call after 14 rings. My mother struggles to walk to the phone. I have just had anxious minutes trying to phone my mother when she has accidentally triggered her fall-alarm late at night and the bloody Swiss phone keeps cutting off the number after so many rings. I will probably have to put these answer phone and extra handset in the bin when I next go down to the house. Why would anybody put a feature that takes away the choice to NOT use the answer machine???? One hundred pounds down the drain. I guess as I speak she will struggle to sleep with the answer phone beeping all night telling her she has a message. Excellent design for the elderly, designed by techno people.

Excellent flashing lights on incoming calls as i am hard of hearing. The sound could be a bit clear .I would like Rubber Grips on both sides.
