Dog Chewables
I don't know if this product is actually working for my grass but my dog loves the taste of it.

They work.
These definitely work. My dog is SO picky about what she eats that anything that even slightly seems like a medicine or supplement gets much resistance...BUT these she eats as readily as her treats. Goofy dog. Sorry I couldn't add a star rating for in the features section for "taste" as I haven't tried them. Yet.

Jury is still out.
My male pit has some seriously toxic urine. We even try to water down the area he pees, right after he goes. I am at a point where I'm willing to try anything. We first picked up this stuff at bass pro, so far he's only been on these for 2 wks. He likes the flavor and tolerate fine with no ill side effects. I'm praying to the green grass God's that these will start to work. Right now the jury is still out. I'll update after a month. Update: there is a difference, the yellow spots from before are still there but we do not have many more new areas. I'm going to rake out all the old spots and seed again. I believe this is working. One thing you have to do is set a reminder so you are giving them to your dog at a set time EVERY day. I'll update again in a month. One thing is for sure. My yard looks better this year than last year.

Works great
I don't know how the flavor is on these because my dog will not eat them. But she is very very picky. So other dogs might do it just fine. For her I break it in half which I can actually do with my fingers. She is small so you start with a whole one and then after several weeks go to a half for her size of 10 lb. I grind it up and mix it with a little wet food and a tiny bit of water and she eats it just fine. She takes some other pills I have to grind up as well. So I do it all together. These work amazingly. I've used them for years. Really stops the grass burning. Not all female dogs have this issue, but for those that do these pills will do the trick.

Some unexpected improvement, not others.
Dogs have been on these pills for 3 weeks now. I have hi-methane output dogs - boston terriers and french bulldog. The product seems to have helped with their methane issues - but the lawn still gets yellow spots and my flowers that get tinkled on still burn. I know the product states to give it a full month, so we'll see if another week makes a change. One thing I didn't fully appreciate is this product alleges to be "probiotic with digestive enzymes" so with that consideration, not sure how that affects the nitrogen aspect of their pee output, but like I said, it has helped with the methane output, so I know something positive is going on. The dogs really enjoy the tablets as a treat.UPDATE: We just completed the entire container (split between 4 small dogs) and I have to say, their negative digestive issues have returned after about a week of being off this product. This product made a significant difference with the methane problem and only toned-down the grass burn issues. I plan to order 2-3 more containers of this and run that through before I disqualify the grass burn improvement. Like any systemic, it must be well-ingrained before it can start showing results (i.e. As with any medication, you would take it for a while before results can be expected for the long term.)

Works great, it truly does!
I'm a bit of a freak about my lawn, and after seeing about a dozen "burnt" spots appear immediately after we adopted a new pup, I knew I had to do something or I was going to lose my mind. This is honestly the first grass protection product I have tried, and after only a few days, I see no new burnt grass. None at all! I have used the "recommended" dosage, and will continue to do so as long as this product continues working like it does. I understand that not every product will work for every person, and due to variations in dog chemistry, there are bound to be some folks for whom this product won't work. But for me and my pooch, it does EXACTLY what it promises and I could not be more satisfied. If you are on the fence, I say, try it and see if it works for you. I'm giving it 5 stars. Thanks for reading my review.

Not good
Gave the recommended amount the first day and it caused my dog to have diarrhea, the second day, half dose, but still diarrhea. Decided then to stop using Grass Guard, took a few days but stool went back to normal. Wasted money on this product.

Excellent product
You don't always know if this works but I certify it does. I have used it for several years with my 2 Bichons - now 9 and 17. One winter I didn't use it and many dead spots in the grass in the spring (Chicago area.) I have since used it all year and not a single spot in the grass. I give 1 tablet to each dog with morning feeding and 1 with evening feeding. 9 year old loves it but I have to grind it up and hide it in wet food for the 17 year old. I have discontinued it for my 17 year old since she is very delicate now and instructions discourage use when there could be kidney problems. She is fine but I'd rather have a little yellow grass than take a chance with my little girl. I just got a 8 week old Bichon and will wait maybe a year before I start her on it.
