Good, very sticky, but fragile
It did the job I needed it for, dark enough to not be visible in the gap between my fireplace cover and the wall. But hard to handle; I wear gloves to work with fiberglass insulation, and the protective strip on the adhesive was impossible to remove with gloves on; and the adhesive was of course sticking to the gloves which made it try to separate from the insulation itself. Had to remove gloves. Result: installed correctly, itchy fingers.

Don't purchase this product, waste of money
The quality of the product was terrible. The backing to the adhesive side kept tearing as it was pulled off. While dealing with that the insulation literally separated and fell off. Impossible to apply vertically.

Falls off the sticky backing.
Does not stay on the backing very well which makes it difficult to handle. Wish it was a little thicker and wider. It does insulate well enough.

Does the job of filling in gaps. Great quality.
We got a new insert in our stone fireplace and the bottom doesn't sit flat, the stone is not flat. There was also a gap around the surround. This insulation fixed the air leaks. It was well worth buying. Use gloves when installing because it is fiberglass.

Working well. Has good fiber content and is easy to install. I bought one bag for this project and ran out. Should have used two. It’s a bit expensive. Check your local hardware store first.
