Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good for the bees! I use these (not exclusively) for feeding overwinter.

Expensive, and kinda thick for placement any other place other than between boxes without queen excluders or inner-boards. I take care of this problem by setting them in the car over the day, and roll them flatter with a rolling pin, or bottle of wine (that is empty already). I'd give this 4 star, 5 if they were flatter/thinner and already in precut 2 pieces per slab instead of having to tear them apart. I also wish they would make the wax paper easier to remove.

This is a beekeepers' staple for that additional food source for overwintering. Particularly useful as a food supplement when the hive goes through a series of warming and cooling cycles where the bees are particularly active and consuming more energy stores but natural sources aren't yet available.

My bees love this stuff! Well packed as well.

Timely delivery for our new bee nuc. Like that each pollen patty is separated. The pollen patties plus sugar water should make for a great start to season
