I have put mine in the washer on a gentle cycle and they came out great.

If you can run in it, you can walk in it, but not always the other way around

What are people doing about the Shoe string’s being too short?

The woman I bought these for had no issues with short shoe strings. She uses them for running so she goes up a full size to allow for expansion of her feet during the run, maybe that is why she has enough string?
