This was so easy to fit, very stable and secure, yet easy to be able to fold down.My Mum has very arthritic hands, with little strength, but finds this very easy to put up and down as needed.Also, doesn't get in the way of the bed clothes.Excellent product at a very fair price.

After a number of falls from bed I wanted to buy a safety rail. Most of the ones I saw were fixed which would I thought, make getting out of bed difficult. This fold down rail was just what I was looking for and has exceeded my expectations. It’s a very well designed and put together item, both sturdy but not heavily solid looking of feeling. It’s great too that its adjustable, stepped fixing it allows for mattresses of different depths. I fitted mine very easily to a divan bed base using just an electric screwdriver. I did assemble the side rail with the fixing bars before screwing it in place so that I could make sure it was far enough out from the side of the bed to still tuck the duvet in once in bed. And so that it was positioned in the right place down the bed so as to be in the right place to operate it once in bed and also not to foul on my bedside table. And this was much easier to achieve with the item assembled than in separate parts. Since installing it I’ve used it every night since, giving me confidence that I’m not going fall out of bed. And also the ease of getting in and out of bed with it in the folded position. Highly recommended!

bought this to go on my elderly mother in laws bed , she is 94 and very limited mobility , she gets a bit confused and at night was sliding her legs over the side of the bed and sliding out ( she cant lift her legs ), i had set this so it is protruding about 18cm above mattress ,, however, her care agency has been out to inspect it and said it was a danger to her getting her leg stuck , so i dropped it by half as much ( 9cm), which leaves only a 5cm gap under the bar , the 9cm height is just enough to stop her legs sliding off , incidently , we have still had to sign a disclaimer from the care agency of any blame in case of any accident in order for their carers to put the guard up when they put her to bed .... but the guard is excellent made and does the job intended .

Used for an elderly gentleman who has a habit of rolling out of bed. Fixes easily to a divan base & is sturdy if you screw the nut and bolt with the 2 supplied spanners. Easy lift & lock for the bed occupant.

Bought a pair for a person with Parkinsons which really help to prevent falls from the bed. Easy to use.

I found that this is ok as long as it is used by a carer, but not very user friendly for the person in bed needing to get out of bed foe toilet, eg. without help from carer to release the bar down.

Muy robusta, facil de instalar y adaptar a cada tipo de cama, he comprado 2 y he posido encajarlas perfectamente a cada cama. Las he puesto en litera abatible horizontal y puedo cerrarla con la barrera puesta, sin tener que retirarla, solo plegarla a un lado y queda recogido. La cama se puede abatir perfectamente. Genial. Super practica y comoda

The media could not be loaded. Los Barrales son cómodos por el hecho de poder cerrarlos pero son bastante flojos.. Los amarres a la cama son firmes por que son de hierro masiso pero el Barral tambalea mucho haciendole poca fuerza, compre dos y uno me llegó golpeado. El envío en sí fue rapido
