I use these in place of a bath towel. It absorbs a lot of water. I purchased this so I have a large chamois to wrap my hair in to absorb water. I have very long thick hair that takes two days to dry. This cuts drying time to about 24 hours or so. I wrap this around my head and cover it with a microfiber hair wrap. I then press to get water into the chamois.

This towel worked pretty well for me. I really like that even when it’s wet and flexible it does not take up space and isn’t too heavy.

I swim every day this product is perfect for me to dry off completely without using (and storing) a big heavy towel

I’ve had a chamois many years ago when I was on my high school swim team. We all used them to dry off quickly between races so we wouldn’t be wet and cold, or after practice so we could get dressed. I recently went on a trip to Indonesia for scuba diving. I only took a backpack so needed a quick dry and very small option and decided to buy this easy to bring with me option. I only used it for this trip so had no issues with smell and kept it in its case once it was mostly dried. 10/10 would buy again for another trip.

So much better than dealing with a wet towel. I end up much dryer, and just squeeze the water out. Light, compact. efficient. what's not to love?

The first time my daughter used it in U of M’s saltwater dive pool, all the blue color faded. Now the towel is white with a few blue spots. So disappointed!!! If we wanted a white towel, we would have bought one… note: I confirmed the pool has no bleach or chlorine. This has not happened with other divers’ shammies.

I had one of these when I used to do competitive diving in high school. It was made by speedo (I think?) and was crucial - always getting in and out of the pool and needing to dry off.I bought this hoping it would be similar quality and it is!I took it to Mexico and it was awesome. I used it every single day; at the beach, at the pool -- even for my sweat (ha!).Super absorbant, lightweight, dries completely.Love it.
