And I can assure you, if you have the right technique, you'll never smear or smudge your image.My technique is simple. First and foremost, shake the bottle. This polish is heavily pigmented and it can settle after a while, so shake it well. Stamp your image onto your nail, do five nails at a time, that gives the stamping polish time to dry since it's such a thin coat. Once all five nails are done, go back to the first nail you stamped, take your top coat brush and ROLL the top coat over the image. I don't swipe one side or the other of the brush, I literally dip it into the top coat, pull it out and allow a large drop to land on my nail. You should only apply the top coat in 3 to 4 swipes of the brush, but the brush should NEVER touch the image. If you touch the brush to the image, I guarantee you'll smear or smudge your image.I have well over 20 bottles of Born Pretty stamping polish, none of them have ever smudged or smeared because of the way I do it. Most, if not all, fast drying top coats are self-leveling, so if it's not perfect, keep an eye on it and see if it levels out. I use strictly Seche Vite fast drying gel effects top coat when I stamp, the images always come out crisp, clean and clear.All of the colors, with the exception of the blue, came out nicely on black polish. You could use the white polish first to stamp the image, top coat, then apply the image again with blue and it should come out cleaner, I haven't had the chance to experiment with that yet.This is a great set of polishes, I love all the colors and having a hard time deciding what I want to stamp.

Great buy for the money, Base - ridge filling nail lacquer, worked great Color was nice and rich and went on smooth, lasted a complete 14 day. The fast drying top coat added extra shine to manicure.

These colors sure look pretty. …. I bought this for the hot pink color and didn’t realize that I couldn’t return it after I tried it.The bottles are very small, the applicator is very small, which doesn’t bother me, but it is very hard to apply to Nails and it takes at least four coats to make the color even stand out, five or six would be better. I am donating this.

Looks great on me it even lights up in black lights.

All of the colors are bright and cheery!! As you apply the nail polish, please keep in mind that the gel nail polish takes much longer to dry than regular nail polish, which resulted in me having to re-do my nails 4 times. Overall, the quality of the nail polish is consistent, and you can get a sheerness look if you only put one coat of this nail polish on. I definitely recommend this product, but please keep in mind the “drying” of the nail polish so you’re not re-doing your nails again like I had to.

Born Pretty Stamping Polish was the first one I started with. I am a hand drawn artist but wanted to see what Stamping was all about so I grabbed these. They fill the wells of ANY stamping plate with ease and pull up without issues. Even on a large well for French I had no issues. I even tested it by leaving it on the stamper a bit longer than normal and it still went onto the nail like it was a fresh stamp. If you are looking for a starter set or to upgrade your stamping game I highly recommend giving Born Pretty a try!! They have plates as well that are great!

I don’t normally leave reviews but since you can’t return this item I figure I can spare someone the wasted dollars. These polishes dry without curing and way too fast for my liking. I applied the polish to the plate, scraped twice and by the time I put my stamper onto it to pick up the pattern, nothing transferred. I had to clean the plate w acetone to start over. And over. It sucks to not have a great experience and now I have to figure out how to make this product work coz I can’t return it.Hopefully you have a better experience or maybe find another product altogether.

Colors are thin but it gets the job done!
