Problem is that because it has the hooks to change the rope, the rope constantly gets caught on the hooks. I do giant bubbles at events so it has been used a lot but I’m constantly having to untangle it from the hooks and now it is in shreds. Would be ok just to use occasionally but not often.

We ordered bubble mixture and the bubble wand and none of it works. If you need to be expert at it then clear instructions should be included. Lots of little children waited for something that basically didn't happen.

The E-KNOW Bubble Wand arrived in a disappointingly battered condition that was clearly not a result of damage in transit as the outer packaging, a plain but stout Amazon proprietary cardboard box, was in perfect condition upon delivery. That being said, the contents were unharmed; those contents being a pair of telescopic extending metal poles (that look for all the world like extending portable radio aerials!) with rubber handle grips and clips at the end which the string loops can be attached to. One loop is already attached, there are two other loops packaged in little bags; these are multi-loops that produce three or up to eight bubbles respectively. Of course the bubbles are smaller but are still a respectable size. I was surprised to see that the loops are made of thick twists of fabric - I would have thought that bubbles required something thinner, but apparently not. Of course when immersed these loops are not as bulky but are still pretty hefty. The Bubbles are big, especially the larger loop, but you need to get the consistency of your liquid right for optimal effects, you need it viscous enough that the bubbles don't break before they've fully formed. I suspect that with a little imagination one could probably knock up something similar at home, but I don't think many kids would be impressed by the "No, we have an XXX at home" routine once their eyes have lit up at the prospect of this. It's fun and it works and it's under a tenner, not a lot to go wrong with it so it's one of those things you stick at the back of the cupboard and bring out at kid's parties and sunny summer days - it does come with the now ubiquitous drawstring pouch, so that tatty box can be thrown away (i.e. recycled) asap.

The bubble wand comes with a string that makes one large long giant bubble, you also get a string that will make various bubbles and a string that makes 3 large bubbles.The wands them selves are telescopic so you can adjust them to suit any age child or adult to hold them.The strings clip onto the wands easily and can be changed as and when required.You also receive instruction on how to make your bubble solution, using only a few ingredients from your kitchen.The recipe works great and gives hours of fun to both adults and children.The bubble wands are compact and could be taken out and about with you on picnics or trips to the park, just remember your bubble solution.As a family who loves bubbles this was a hit with us.Would recommend 👍
