The Nivea Exfoliating Lip Balm Stick with Aloe Vera is really good at gently smoothing and soothing lips. The aloe vera feels calming, and the stick format is convenient for quick use. However, I do wonder how often you actually need to exfoliate your lips — it’s not something I feel comfortable doing daily. If you’re looking for a strong exfoliation or large amounts of scrubbing, this won’t be the best choice since it’s quite mild. For gentle, occasional lip care, though, it works well and leaves lips soft and prepped.

I tried this on and it feels lovely but at first, like others have said it's was no different to any other Nivea lip balm, until I read a review on here that says to rub it on hand until you feel the particles. This worked and now I can feel very gentle particles when applying, they soon disappear and leave a lovely smooth feel. I don't know how exfoliating these will be as they are a lot more gentle than any other scrub I've used but not tried a lipbalm one before. It doesn't have a strong taste which is good and just feels really moisturising. It works really good over a lip stain, I also bought and tried Wonderskin lip stain and applied it over that and looks better than the shimmery lipgloss I tried over it first.

This is a lovely lip balm with a scrub built in. The scrub isn’t too harsh and is perfect for when you’re out and about.
