I bought these to go over my home made water catcher. It keeps the leaves and debris out perfectly but still lets the water go right in! The drawstrings let it fit perfectly to the top to not let the wind blow it off.

These are too big for my 55-gallon barrels so it drops into the water and the cinch cord doesn't really tighten enough to keep it from moving

Easy to use; just stretch it over the top of your rain barrel.

Ordered for 2 rain barrels as the new smaller mosquitoes were getting thru the screen. Works so good to keep them out we ordered 2 more for other rain barrels. They fit the 50 and 100 gallon barrels good.

These do the job for screening, but they are huge and don't stretch across top as shown. Instead they hang down about a foot inside...into the water if the barrel is full.

these screens are awesome! They catch a huge amount of funk that finds its way to the top of a rain barrel. They feel oversized when you first put them on but all the extra fabric helps with filling all the groves on the top of your rain barrel. This way the water falls in rather then running off.

I used the cover for a rain barrel that is part of an automatic watering system. The mesh is doing a good job of filtering but the string that attaches the cover to the lip of the barrel isn't secure no matter how I tighten. I think elastic might have been better.
