BekoCosmopolis Toaster TAM8402CR, Retro cream Chrome Teal Design, Extra Wide Slot 4-Slice Toaster, Includes Defrost, Reheat And Cancel Functions

This review is for the Beko TAM8402G Cosmopolis 4 Slot Toaster. I have been searching for a decent 4 slot toaster for a while as our last one was rubbish. I read many of the reviews here, many put me off. However the specifications were exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to purchase anyway. So far I have not found anything I don’t like about this toaster.It has deep slots so it will toast a full tall slice like Hovis etc.It has independent control for left and right so you can use either side.It seems to be well made.Some reviews say it is slow to toast. It’s no better or worse in this respect than any other toaster I have owned.It toasts evenly.Very pleased with my purchase.

Very good toaster. Can use both sides independently. Toasts quite well. Have to get used to settings. Between 3 and 4 is best for toast. For crumpets had to put in again to get desired cooked finish. Takes tea cakes and panini and ciabatta as well. Lovely retro design. Takes frozen bread and can use that setting. Not as even on frozen bread but will have to get used to it. All in all very pleased.

This is a surprising nice toaster. Not expensive overall and seems well built. The controls are pretty standard and the variable width grip for bread etc works well. In use the sides remain cool.

I like my toast fairly well done, turned up to 5 the toast comes out perfect every time and is pretty consistent, happy days.Minor niggles, crumpets are a double dip for me and the ejection spring hasn’t got enough spring to lift them out.Toast, it’s intended job 10/10, crumpets 6/10.

My son bought me the kettle so I bought the toaster to match it is nice to look at and takes thicker slices of bread.but doesn’t brown the toast.dissapointed thinking of getting my old toaster back out
