the only reason this shofar is getting a 3 star instead of a 1 star is the price the big problem was there were termites or maggots in the cracks so much that I had to use my grinder to clean the thing up. I mean it was bad. I lost a good inch and I am sure it changed the sound with as thin as it was after shaving it . I found at least 4 dead things inside the cracks , also mouth piece was a little off like when it was straightened some pushed on the mouth piece and made it a little flat. overall great price just bad workmenship I was lucky that the rot was not to deep although In the light I can almost see through it in spots one last thing it has the smell to it so buyer bewere
