Bassetts Sherbet Lemons Sweets Bag (192g x 6)

Not quite the same as I remember from my childhood when they had a bunch of sherbet in the center, but nevertheless very enjoyable and the six bag pack has an auto delivery and is very inexpensive!

I get these when in England. They are individually wrapped which means I can carry some loosely in my pocket or hand one to someone without worrying about touching the food product and they don’t stick together if I keep them in the car in the summer!

Bonds of London brand is a bit more expensive and soooo much better.These have an interesting texture, hence the generous 2 stars.Remember...Bonds, just Bonds

These are my favourite candy. They are hard to get in Canada so I often wait for them to be shipped from England...that's how much I like them.

I love lemon candy and stumbled upon these through Amazon. THEY WERE AMAZING! I have continued to purchase these over the last year ensuring I never run out so have been through MANY bags at this point. That being said this last batch I ordered has not been the wonderful lemony candy I am used to. The bag is the same, they physically look the same, they smell the same BUT some taste like Vicks Mentholatum cough drops which to me are absolutely DISGUSTING. Some within the pack taste fine, others taste awful. I roll the dice each time I pop one in my mouth to see if I will need to spit it out. One may be fine then the very next disgusting. They are not expired or damaged so I am perplexed why some taste bad. I thought maybe it was just a defective bag, but this has continued through all six bags. I am so disappointed. Giving 3 stars because until the batch of 6 I loved them.
