Works great
I have my iPad mounted to this in portrait mode but have the mount holding the sides not the bottom. The iPad sits about 1/8 of an inch from my tune knob on the radio and has never hit it. There is no movement or vibrations. I'm using a very old iPad that is a lot heavier then my 14 pro and still have no issues. I also have a thick case on it which stretches the mount out almost all the way. I have no fear of my iPad falling out now that I have used this. It's mounted in my F250 not a soft ride like a car. Hit some pretty big potholes and the mount never budged.

Long review b/c I have this and the 67D competitor product
First let me say that despite what some say in the Q&A and on various offroading forums, the 67D and Bullet set ups are absolutely compatible as long as you have like-for-like with ball and connector size. It can look a little goofy b/c of the difference in arm diameter, but they are definitely fully compatible. So I already have the 67D three ball base and two phone arm set up and the third ball going unused. With the third ball available, I wanted to see if my iPad will make that much difference in GPS trax app navigation (which, for those who know, is quite different from standard driving navigation apps such that being able to see more detail via larger screen is helpful), but its only an experiment. I'm not convinced I'll use it long term. So I didn't want to spend the high amount money necessary for 67Ds iPad holder and arm system. To state the obvious and crucial point on price, this unit from Bulletpoint is anywhere from 1/3rd to 1/2 the price of the 67D depending on which tablet configuration you're looking at. Either way, its a big savings. So the question becomes, is it worth it is there a 1/3 to 1/2 quality diff?Short answer is it depends on which component. Here's a component by component run down FWIW:* the 20mm ball - same quality as 67D* the carbon fiber arm - in terms of quality slight advantage goes to 67D though I will say on this component the prices are similar. In terms of size 67D blows Bullet away. Bullet is ~3x the diameter and no stronger (in fact feels a bit flimsier). In a multi arm setup that means you're taking up a lot of cabin room and visibility.* the connectors - slight advantage 67D. not enough to justify the price but it looks and feels just a bit sturdier and in my field testing I did have to retighten Bullet twice on a three day overlanding run.* the device holder - not even close. everything but the ball on the Bullet is cheap plastic you could get in Walmart for much less than what Bullet is charging.Overall assessment - For your base system for a couple of phones or a phone and GoPro, stick with 67D. Buy once cry once. For tablet that you'll probably have set up less frequently or maybe were like me and uncertain about even using a tablet in your rig, the quality / price compromise with Bullet is more than acceptable. Go with Bullet.
