The real Smokin' Buds!
There were no reviews whatsoever on this product and I bought it on chance knowing the brand license/distribution partner HAMA GmbH is known for decent products at a relatively good price. What I got is easily among the very best earphones in this price range. This product is tuned towards mids and highs but the bass is also good, without overpowering the rest of the frequency range. This one is better than my Skullcandy Smokin' Buds 2 wired edition, and in fact listening to the intro of Neo Contra is almost theatrical with this earphone - I could actually hear the gunshots and explosions clearly against the song. Fired up the Mortal Kombat theme with this earphone and got real goosebumps.Build quality could be better, the wire length could be better and the wire thickness could also be better, but with the audio quality THOMSON strikes gold. I do not think there are a lot of better products at this price point.
