First of all it’s awesome how complete this kit is for the price and the variety of colors you get. The nail polishes ARE small fyi but they’re so pretty. I wasn’t expecting to like it so much and have such an easy time doing my own nails for the first time. This is going to save me SO much time and money. I’m also super happy because the main reason I was looking for this was to have a less toxic alternative to salons. The nail polish is “12 free” I believe without a lot the harmful stuff and it hardly smells at all unlike gel polishes I’ve had used on me before at nail salons. I HIGHLY recommended this to friends and fam who complimented my nails and I actually used this on my daughter as well. It’s so glossy for DAYS and didn’t chip as quick as I though it might. I will say the glue for the little rhinestones sucks but that may be cause I didn’t use enough.

This was a perfect save to keep from having to spend $80 any time I wanted my nails done. Now I just do them myself and people always ask where I get them done and I get to say I did them myself.

After I spent $55 at a nail salon on a very mediocre shellac manicure, I decided to look up professional grade gel polish and this is one that popped up. I decided to give it a try and so far I'm blown away by it's quality. It has already paid for itself with one use. Looks the same on day 6 as it did on day 1. The rhinestones have all stayed on too, whereas at a salon, they would have all fallen off by now. My only 2 complaints are 1: there does seem to be a lot of repetitive colors in very slightly different tones and 2: the top coat has started coagulating in the bottle a bit and I had to pick off jello like pieces off the brush. They still turned out really well despite this issue. I am a busy mom of 3, always cleaning and using my hands a lot at home and at work as a care provider, and they have held up. Save yourself a lot of money and buy this.

The colors are a little similar to each other in reality. Although the picture shows 12 very different colors, some shades are actually hard to tell the difference. HOWEVER, this set is still very versatile and beginner friendly. It has everything you need. One thing I personally bought separately is a gel remover. I have also bought a couple LED lights, but this one seems to be the strongest one, meaning you need less time to cure your nails. I have recommended this set to a few of my friends, and they all seem satisfied with the purchase.

This is fairly easy to use and the instructions are straightforward.If you get gel polish for it's longevity and aren't needing the pampering of someone else doing your nails, this is a very affordable option.

So glad I finally decided to purchase a this gel nail kit. My nails look as if I went to the salon. The kicker is…I did them myself! Saved time AND money. Love the color options in this kit. They look similar in the bottles, but when you actually paint your nails, you can tell the difference in the colors. I will be purchasing more fall colors next. BUY THIS KIT!!Only con I would say is the colors don’t have names, only numbers.

Purchased and received the “Jelly Storm” option in September. I loooove the sheer jellies, they are all very buildable and minimally streaky. Though, you do have to be meticulous and clean up your nail bed edges as you go with the darker colors, otherwise any tiny pooled areas will be significantly darker than the rest of your nail, but that is to be expected. What was UNEXPECTED is how much I love the nail oil pen and files, really wish these were available individually for sale.Now, my actual issue and why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5: The UV Lamp. I received the “old” version, though I’m not really sure what the difference is other than the branding font? I’ve used this lamp for less than 5 sessions since I received it and already a third of the lights on the right side are out, see photo. Also note that the lamp also doesn’t come with a mirrored bottom (I use the tin foil hack to get around this). At this point, we as consumers should know the importance of avoiding gel allergies by ensuring that we only cure using a high quality lamp. Uncured gel isn’t always obvious and now I am nervous because I have no idea how long the right side “bulbs” have been out. While I do hope the seller sees this and sends me a replacement lamp, I also have to be honest and recommend that you completely disregard the lamp that comes with this kit and purchase a higher quality one with a mirrored bottom separately.
