I recently purchased the 44-Piece Torx Socket Set, and it has been a fantastic investment for my automotive work. Good quality product

I've had the OEMTOOLS hex bit set 23990 and multi-drive star socket set 23991 in my wishlist for a while now and finally pulled the plug on buying them last week. I have purchased similar sets int he past with great hopes only to be let down when the item arrived. Either the tools themselves were shoddy materials, broke after a few uses, or the containers/cases they came with were less the user-friendly.I am glad I made the purchase this time though. The holding cases they come with are made of tough foam with a black plastic top. Each of the pieces fit very snuggly in the foam and don't move in the slightest when opening or closing toolbox drawers. Each bit is hardened steel with what looks like Chrome-V housing which is the same material most other hand tools use. While they are not up to par found with Snap-On, SK, or other expensive sets, these sets are very capable for the at-home mechanic for a fraction of the price.I would highly recommend these sets to anyone looking to expand their tools at home or in the shop for light use!

Perfect for tight quarters. They are all 1/4" drive so the smallest ratchet can be used.

All the bits have 1/4 or 3/8 inch square drive sockets so these can only be used with ratchet drivers; you would need an adaptor to use with impact driver. The base is solid enough to carry in a tool kit, but it's bulky so I don't normally carry it in my tool kit unless I know it will be needed.

Work for a German automotive dealership, and this set is used heavily. I do have a separate impact rated set as well, but these have been holding up well.

Broke 1 bit after years of daily use, didn't know how to get 1 bit T40 replaced so i bought another set, they are that good

They are made in Taiwan, but the fit and finish is excellent. As an independent I need to have a variety of tools that I would use occasionally to once in a blue moon. Purchasing them from Snap-on would be prohibitive in the least. These OEM sockets fit the bill - excellent quality and affordable. I purchased both this set and the Hex set and I’ve used a number of the sockets and have been happy with their performance. I would highly recommend them to anyone. My only complaint is I would rather the E-torx sockets were in the case vertically to save space and wish they included the E20 and E24 sizes. They sell them separately but there’s no place to store them in that excellent foam case.

Love these tools from this company the brushed looking chrome makes it stay clean looking and the foam inserts are awesome these tools are a mechanics dream make life easier for me at work

This set is perfect for any german brand technicians tool box. So far they're staying strong and straight and I use them constantly. The base they come on is even good quality. All these for fraction of the tool truck price.

Product seems great. Broke a socket tho wondering how I can get a replacement.it socks as quality seems good probably just a fluke

Was super excited for this and the first screw the TP20 tip broke off. And they are not in there over tight. Can someone just send me the one bit to replace it?
