Bonus use: Use it to strap your helmet to the pillion seat!
The media could not be loaded. It works fine if you want to carry your helmet like a purse, but here’s where I found the best use for it.Shorten the strap and put it under the passenger seat. Click it to itself when you’re riding, and clip your helmet on when you’re leaving your helmet on your bike! You can also use it to strap down other items, like a bag or your gloves, jacket, etc.

Great idea but doesn't fit all helmets
I gave it 4 stars because it does not fit all helmets. Did not fit the tab on my husband's AVG helmet. Otherwise it would have been good.

Convenient
I've used it several times, works great with my 1Storm helmets. The strap is well built, thick and comfortable. Just the right size, great price and looks good.

EZ GO micro ratchet not compatible with Shoei micro ratchet
Was really looking forward to this product. I recently purchased a Shoei Neotec II helmet. I can lock the helmet to my bike, but if I'm expecting rain I bring it with me. The problem is that the EZ GO ratchet does not fit the Shoei ratchet! So now I'm left with closing the chin strap ratchet and then looping the EZ GO through the chin strap and closing the EZ GO ratchet on itself. A big loop in a little loop. Now the helmet wants to slide around the EZ GO loop, not good for the helmet chin strap material. I could have done this with some rope and a cheap carabiner. A great idea BUT make sure your helmet has the same size micro-ratchet before purchase is you wish to use this as designed. Seller and EZ GO should make this obvious in the advertising!

Why wasn’t his invented decades ago?!?!?!
Such a great idea!!All of us are familiar with doing “the juggle” while trying to hold the helmet, pick up things, open doors, etc. This solves that problem by letting you carry you helmet over your shoulder.I can’t figure out why this idea wasn’t turned into product *decades* ago. It’s so simple and obvious.Uses:* Carrying your helmet (obviously)* Hanging your helmet in a crowded area* Shopping (yes, you can use your helmet as a shopping basket)I strongly recommend this if you have a helmet using the micro-metric buckle! To the manufacturer: please make a D-ring version!!I use this with my Schuberth E1 Hunter helmet.

Mostly good
It does what you expect. The strap is long if you are a very slim lady. Me at as a man at 180 lbs the helmet sits on my side or my back with the bottom of the helmet holding itself in place. But for my girlfriend at 120 lbs the helmet doesn't sit flat the same way, it hangs with the bottom facing up. I move it so the helmet sits on her lower back to be out of the way when we walk and it seems fine but the helmet will likely get scratched up since the painted side is against her rather than the bottom of the helmet like in the pictures. The strap is adjustable but doesn't adjust to be short enough to snug up the helmet placement on her.

Does the job well
Bought the ratchet version and it does double duty: Works on my helmet with ratchet straps by plugging into the helmet's straps, and it works on my full face helmets with D rings by being plugged into itself, forming a loop through the chin strap.
